The armor looks interesting and nice to see we can grab it from Gold Saucer if we choose, but still makes me wonder where is our half of the PSO2 collaboration event?

Why? Because Garo is popular in Japan and Square Enix is a Japanese company? There are a lot of references in any game that are much more unknown outside their developer's country of origin.I think this event is probably the 2nd most annoying to look at. Why this, and not anything Square Enix related or even video-game media related? I don't know what the !&#@ Garo is, how would I know until some guy mentioned it? And didn't we already have a power rangers esque event already? Oh, not to mention, we already have lion heads and panther masks. They're already in PvP. The only thing remotely new is the mounts but only barely since they're horses with new effects. Now, I'm glad they tied this in with PvP, but if they made it for the one goddamn mode that would take the absolute longest to accumulate points (4v4) I'm gonna lose it because they haven't learned thy're lesson about tedious BS. Anyways, looking forward to them not messing this up -_-
Garo is a franchise by Keita Amemiya, he will be doing the enemy and possibly gear design for the 4.X 24-man raids.
All 4 of those armors are based on Wolves actually.Oh, not to mention, we already have lion heads and panther masks.

GARO is an adult tokusatsu series that airs in Japan past midnight.I think this event is probably the 2nd most annoying to look at. Tokusatsu are stuff like Super Sentai, Kamen Rider, etc, to name the more known ones.
GARO is a tokusatsu whose target audience were adults, (hence airing past midnight).
It's actually a pretty entertaining series.
Also, I somehow kinda remember that Square was one of the sponsors/publisher for GARO Tokusatsu series as well, but don't quote me on this statement cause it's been a while since I watched it, and I might be wrong, and I probably am wrong.

Ga.. ro..? Never heard of it.
-googles-
Oh. Anime? Never seen it. Nice armours and mounts. Is the anime any good, worth watching?

There are two anime, though the majority of the series' are actually live-action dramas.
As to the animes, I've only seen the first, which I greatly enjoyed. Interesting characters, engrossing story, and had one of the best choreographed fight scenes I've ever seen in anime.

Ah, Anime and live. Sounds interestring enough, I'll check it out. Thanks. There are two anime, though the majority of the series' are actually live-action dramas.

The "live action dramas" of GARO (which isn't actually 'live action drama', there's a term for these kinds of shows - Tokusatsu) have actually been running for a lot longer than the anime of GARO, which, again I say, is a pretty entertaining series.
Though the anime is quite good too, I've only watched the first one(anime) that came out.
