So your telling me a month is to long ha that's like one month of subscription.

No rational human being is going to force themselves to spend a month doing something they hate in the hopes they might like what comes afterward. Players that like the story aren't asking to skip it. You're not going to convince players that have no interest in the story that it's so good and they should ~experience it~. If the game hopes to survive long-term there needs to be minimum gating on current content. The players that want to experience the old content will go ahead and do that. The more you force a new player to do, the more of a turn-off the entire experience is in general. The market is saturated. They'll just find another game that does things better.
