Hardcore carried a group in A10N this morning. Went in with two friends (PLD and SCH), and I was on BRD. The other tank (WAR) continued to try and fight my friend for hate the entire time, not once switching into Deliverance, and spent the majority of the time spamming annoying SFX macros. Not sure what the other healer was doing, other than not healing. And dying. A lot. Had to sing Army's for the first time in a LONG time because DPS died multiple times (especially the DRG, but hey, just doing their job, I guess) and the tanks kept bottoming out on TP, and then had to switch to Mage's for SCH friend because they were the only one raising and healing. Played Foe's in the beginning for the BLM. Didn't help. Fourth DPS (another BRD) DC'd right at the beginning of the fight. Never came back.

We almost got squashed by the Steam Roller thing. I saw the goblins appear twice. And I had to LB2 them both times, AND I got to tank them because the WAR wasn't about to be bothered to pick them up, and continued to just fight for hate.

DPS was terrible. Didn't help the other two had Brink of Death the majority of the run... Also didn't help that the WAR would not use Deliverance.

Get out of there and listen to what the little birdies told me: I was top DPS (by double everyone else, not a small number or a couple of points), even with singing about 90% of the duty when I wasn't out of MP, followed by my PLD friend, who beat the WAR buy over 100 DPS. DRG and BLM were on the bottom of the list because they died about 4 times a piece.

I just...I can't handle that sort of hardcore carrying.
Fun fact: we also got the same WAR and DRG in A11N. Went just about as smoothly.

Was doing Trial Roulette for a few runs to collect my Mahatma's.
Got Ifrit HM at some point, and from the previous runs I wasn't expected the other tank to ask whether I wanted to MT or OT, I was already running in and pulled the boss....
So during the fight I typed if he wanted to tank it he should just take over, so I started holding back......


And then the MCH was tanking.......

And then Ifrit started running all over the place......

So after 2 minutes of madness I taunted and tanked the fight to the end, apologising for the mess as I wasn't used to someone asking whether I wanted to tank.....

Was running my alt-ling for a9-12 loots (guess I should consider her my main these days...ah well). Ended up in A11, first run went wonky because both the healers misjudged their position for propeller wind and got taken out by optical sights. One tank promptly 'disconnected' because of course, one wipe is the end of the universe and you have to immediately abandon ship, even though both healers clearly voiced their displeasure at having screwed up, showing that they knew what they were supposed to be doing (and that we were close to the kill in any case).

We waited a couple minutes for a replacement tank and didn't get one. The tank who stayed asked if we should try anyway. Everyone else was game. We beat it on that pull, but I had to sacrifice my poor DRG twice to GA-100. 28k damage to the face is pretty painful to a DPS, if anyone wondered. Got three commends for being the token sacrifice at least. :P

Just ran through Expert roulette with a tank new to the dungeon.

Everyone else: "Need an explanation on the fights?"
Tank: "Nah, I'm new to the dungeon but I'm not a horrible tank".

Proceeds pull boss before we have a chance to say the explanations anyway and ignores every mechanic making my job hell as a healer.

But.. its Expert Roulette... and you're a SCH. You actually had to leave Cleric Stance? You deserve a hug.

The Trial roulette appears regular somehow.
These days I frequently got Shiva after Shiva, Ifrit after Ifrit, Sophia after Sophia. In need of quests, should all the primes have equal chance to show up? ...Actually I'd love to play with Nidhogg, whose scene is dark and comfortable. Sophia's scene burns my eyes a lot.

Well...with a horrible tank you can feel like a great healer after finally getting rid of the situation. The most tragic results usually happen in occasion that you fail.
Hope your hard work wouldn't get the dude in the illusion that he was doing well.

I got Sohm Al running leveling roulette on my Scholar earlier.

Tank started out mass-pulling things straight into those poison pod things before bursting them, while also not bothering to hit all of the mobs so they attack me if I AoE heal. We wipe. He runs straight back there doing the exact same thing. We wipe again and he leaves without saying a word.

I'm honestly not that good with heals, but I've healed that dungeon at least 4 times in the past and never had a problem in that section before so ¯\_(ツ)_/¯.
