All I could recommend is to force them to join the "Hall of Intermediate" if its ever happen to be implented. They would need to solve some trials and read through their skill descriptions, check up rotations and guides via google or simply ask their FRIENDS.. So they would take like 30min to understand basic things in exchange for a whole month or even more of MSQ content.

The Intermediate Hall needs to cover things like:

• dots are always ticking even when you are not on the boss, thus they are important
• dots tick always stronger than a buff is up (renewing before dots go off helps alot too)
• learning which combo and rotation to start with
• how to use an opener
• how to manage your CD's (buffs, etc)
• to learn about the aggro bar
• etc

though I have to admit a jump potion comes handy... people surely want to reach the new "jobs" (also HW ones) and start to learn/play them immediatly. And the new jobs will be pretty sure in the next new maps, which makes them unaccessable for every ARR or HW MSQ player.

You are leaving because of things that might, possibly, happen in the future? Idk, that seems kind of stupid. You expect a bad outcome, but you have no way of knowing it WILL actually be bad. How about just seeing how things will turn out before you ragequit pointlessly? There have been lots of things that looked horrible in the past and then it turned out they weren't so bad after all^^

Don't get me wrong, I'm 100% against jump potions too and fear how they will influence both the playerbase and further "service" decisions SE makes, but we LITERALLY have no way of knowing how big that effect will actually be. Equally, we also know next to nothing about Stormblood yet, so judging if it will feel fresh or burn you out is not yet possible either.
Your argument sounds like someone who never enters a relationship his entire life because there is a chance it might end in a break-up. Just enjoy it while it lasts, and maybe it will last until death (MMO shutdown). If it doesn't, well, at least you had a good time before it went bad
But just running away before anything actually happens...

That's the thing though, if people want to learn, they learn. If people do not want to learn, they don't learn. People could level to 10 or 50 or 60 or 1000 and it still will not make a bit of damn difference.

That's just because there's a lot of bad players. That'll be present regardless of the jump potions, or palace, or whatever's out there. haha
