Yep. I was in an a10s learning party and all of a sudden I got a lag spike, then people in discord mentioned getting disconnects and then we were all dead.

I found the thread on Reddit about it. Seems for a lot of people it was just that one time, but others reported problems after it, too. I've been stable since but I really hope we don't have another repeat of the NA data centers imploding on themselves.

It was kind of funny to see the fast forward, and then see everyone suddenly dead though. Lol

What's wrong with this though? I run Wanderer's HM with Poetic equips all the time. I mean, that was the norm before HW. How was his weapon's level of any importance?

S/He means the item level. Putting my money on it being the Darklight Bill that drops from normal Amdapor Keep and Wanderers Palace.

I got Odin in my Mentor Roulette and, given the track record of this trial, prepared myself for an hour of wipes. Shockingly, not only did we not wipe, we cleared it (which almost never happens...) in one try. I was so happy I wanted to just hug, sob, and commend everyone for restoring my faith in the Duty Finder.

...until my next roulette dumped me in Gubal (Story Mode) with a level 59 MCH in i120 Poetics gear and a basic level 50 weapon. Our struggle bus made it through two trash packs before I finally had to say something. I wasn't even mean! I just remarked, "You know, so and so, your gear is severely outdated for being close to 60. Maybe look into upgrading it so your damage output is higher." I think the tank or other DPS agreed since our group was moving at a snail's pace.

Then *poof* they left without a word. I mean, I didn't say they had to go upgrade right then and there, but secretly I hope that's what they did. >.>;

They didn't want to and since I wasn't there I couldn't do it myself.

I have reported malicious parsers before and gotten them suspended so I wouldn't hesitate if I saw it happen again. I think it's absolutely fine to use them so long as the numbers aren't being used to single people out, but some individuals just cannot keep things to themselves.

Glad some people have sense. I once had someone get uppity and accuse me of using a parser... because I noted their damage was MUCH better since they took some advice I gave them on an earlier run (namely getting an ilvl 133 crafted weapon off the MB to replace their ilvl 55 GC weapon. Same situation I shared earlier in the thread but left this out). I told them I noted they actually had a chunk on the enmity bar this time and kept my head low.

...seriously, what's the problem with using it to praise folks?

I was doing some Midas normal runs on my WHM alt to unlock the Creator for... later. My WHM was i209 at that point, pretty close to the minimum itemlevel.

In A6, I got a paladin who didn't have even the slightest clue about their cooldowns. I mean, he didn't only pop Sentinel and Hallowed Ground simultaneously, he popped them before a pull. ._. And he tried to maintank everything, trying to rip aggro of the DRK, which caused the tanks to play ping pong with the first robot... except the DRK stopped to tell the paladin to stop the BS while the paladin was actually too dump to keep aggro, so in the end it was the BLM who tanked the boss. Many deaths because of those aggro issues, but me and my co-healer (also close to minimum ilvl) somehow prevent a wipe. Somehow.

Second robot wasn't much better because the positioning was awful. DPS were all over the place instead of stacking behind the boss, and the paladin still tried to ping pong, so in fact it was impossible to properly deal with the laser attacks. More deaths, still no wipe. Felt like a god at that moment. The remaining robots were stressful too, but not nearly as awful as the first ones.

In A7, my co-healer got jailed and seemed not to know what to do because we had the poison debuff for quite long time, but nothing too bad. Fun part was the four bombs that are supposed to be dragged into a corner, but... nobody moved. They all kept standing in the middle, and before I told them to spread the bombs, I decided it would be faster to find a safe place so at least I survive the explosion, ran to a corner and BOOM! everyone but the paladin maintank and myself were dead. LB3 was used already, but we could recover by the paladin keeping himself up with Clemecy and Hallowed Ground while I revived the other healer, then a summoner.

Then... A8. At least two DPS were new, so was the paladin, which isn't too much of an issue... except it was THE DERPLADIN FROM A6! So, pre-pull Sentinel and Hallowed Ground as well as ping pong again. And the DPS ate the Megabeam (is it called like this? That fat laser the boss shoots). And the DPS ate the super obvious circle AOEs. And the DPS didn't kill the adds although they were told to. So, DRK maintank and I killed one add each (yes, when he had his aggro safe, he moved the boss to one of the adds because nobody else was there anyway) while the other two exploded. This happened three times before the robots from A6 appeared... and wiped us because the paladin didn't take his, so one robot ran amok.

The second try was pretty much the same except the DRK was prepared for the paladin's derps and took both adds. He wasn't even hard to keep up, the issue was that co-healer and DPS were dying left and right because of, well, minor things combined with their Killing debuffs. Close before the first two robots were dead, I even had to use LB3 to prevent a wipe, but oh boy, I kinda managed to heal through this mess, but the struggle took so long that we hit enrage when Brute Justice was at 81%. I have NEVER seen enrage there before, and then... 81%. I was like... wow seriously... I was speechless. Derpladin got kicked then, and everyone else left as well.

When I signed up again, I prayed to the Twelve for they won't get me grouped with Derpladin again... and thank them, I got two competent tanks. Finally O.O

Probably gonna upset some people, but I never realized how incredibly frustrating it is to have a healer not contribute a single bit of DPS during a duty. Quick Expert roulette before bed: Xelphatol. I'm on BRD, FC mate is on DRK, and then the two randoms are a NIN and a SCH. First boss, I knew DPS was slow, even with me continuously popping every buff I had. The first boss actually managed to get out the four air stones tethered to the turret, something I only saw on my very first run. SCH is standing off to the side practically AFK. No DoTs. No Shadow Flare. I don't even think they bothered to cast Adlo or E4E.

Second boss: NIN drops his first wind tunnel on my friend, who has to move the boss out of my fire circle because of it (my poor fire circle ;_; ). The second time, HE RUNS TO ME AND DROPS THE WIND TUNNEL ON ME. I end up losing my DoTs because directly after I get marked and have to run to place mine. So I was super mad. I would have dropped it on him, but that would have meant dropping it on my friend.

Finally, last boss. Almost managed to summon Garuda a third time, but I LB'd him because the NIN showed no signs of even knowing what an LB was. And, again...the entire time: no DPS from the SCH. Not even a Bio DoT.

I just can't.

Of course, last night, I also had Xelphatol in my Expert.

Thought I'd try my hand at ninja after a long time so I queued for ex roulette. And since I still have in progress ticked, of course I get dropped in progress in Xelphatol. There's two Lalas, a BLM and a WHM, and a d/c'd tank. After some remarks about how awesome Lalas are, the tank returns from his d/c. However, no moves were made, and after I announce I might be a bit rusty at ninja, the BLM disconnects and immediately disappears from the party. Soon after, the tank does the same.

The WHM then tells me they're probably salty that he/she kicked the other dps for being offline. Apparently, the dps d/c'd because their sub ran out, then the other two d/c'd as well. Eventually the WHM had decided to kick the one offline the longest. So now it's just me and the WHM, then after a while another dps arrives. Because I know the chances of getting a replacement tank at this time of night are slim, I decide to try to leave and rejoin as tank.

I hop on my warrior and make it back, and it's just me and the WHM again. The other dps had left in the mean time. The WHM laments that they just want the dungeon over and done with so they can get dinner. So we decide to just go for it and see how far we get with the two of us. In the middle of the next trash pull, we suddenly get two dps join in short succession, and cheers all around as the party is complete again.

We fly through the rest of the dungeon in record time, and the bard who joined even gives me Warden's Paean for my berserk pacification! Some merriment about my various berserk macros, and we're done, and the WHM finally can get their food.

Gubal Library Hard Mode ! Stupid tank that stay in AOE, waste CD, cry cause the healer can't keep him alive...

We kick him before the last boss. Black and White mage ask me (dragoon) if i want to tank the boss and try to kill it without tank.
We try, the White mage keep me alive i don't know how and we beat the boss without a tank !
