For those that're worried about jump potions causing players to be bad cause of a skill gap. Your argument was made invalid the moment that they introduced unsyncing to clear all ARR dungeons, primals, and raids.
All the jump potion is doing now is letting them skip the story to.

The WoW refugees are hurting this game thing kinda ticks me off. I am technically a WoW refugee, and I don't think I've done anything to hurt this game. Maybe you should go. Sometimes a break from one game can bring you into something you fall in love with even more. Kinda like.. when I took a break from WoW to play this.

I'm not too terribly pleased with the idea myself, but I feel it would be hypocritical to complain about it. I've wished for one myself to save me the trouble of leveling classes over again on alts on other servers. It doesn't seem to have "ruined" the game for the Korean and Chinese players like some people seem to believe it would for us, so I don't see how we could say that it would do that on NA/JP/EU servers. I'd expect that people that would be willing to shell out the cash to quickly level up would be just as willing to learn to play the game well.

Well jump potions are not going to help retain players either, those same players that use the potions when get bored after couple months and quit anyways.
