Just thought of another question. Will you be providing some sort of benchmark program so that we can test our system with all the changes you are making for V21.0?

I'm fine with putting the subscription back in place, but would like it to be revised. Particularly in terms of multiple characters. I'm sure many people experimented with multiple characters when it became free, but I'd like to see one monthly fee which includes multiple characters. A reduced fee would also keep many people playing while drawing new folks for the next year.
One of the things they mentioned in the outline about the new grafics system is that it is suposed to run smoothly on the PS3 and PCs with similar specs.
Hope this helps.
I have another question Yoshi-p:
Will you be updating the Official Website for FFXIV? If so approx. when could we see that happening?
I didn't see any mention of revisions of the crafting system other than the HQ changes and recipe additions and balancing. Is this current system going to stick around for 2.0?
Part of being a massively multiplayer online game involves granting accessibility to a very wide range of users. Many of those users have high end gaming machines, but at the same time, many do not.
So, my question is in regards to the new graphics engine. Is the new engine being designed in a way that is meant to increase user accessibility, such as increasing number of graphics options, and perhaps fostering a generally lighter weight client? In it's current state, the game requires users to put down a significant amount of cash to play the game in a way that is both smooth and visually appealing (i.e. not dropping all the settings to low).
Also, another side question that is slightly related: I, and I'm sure many others, need to wear glasses because our vision is not the greatest... While for me this is not usually a limiting disability, I've found that the general text size within menus is quite small and can be very hard to read if I'm playing the game later in the evening. Are there any plans during the UI revamp to incorporate real-life disability options such as font size and maybe even color settings? I am aware that fonts may be changed within the config menu, as well as resolution adjustment. But both of those settings have impacts on other things that I'd rather not have changed.
In the concept art and subsequent documents that were made available to us, there was mention that the new jobs would be made available in patch 1.21 which is scheduled for February. Are there any more jobs in the planning stages for the release of 2.0.
I personally would really love to see Summoner, Samurai, Ninja, and Red Mage all make a return.
Also, the UI in the screen shot albeit not finalized looks AMAZING! Though you mentioned in the documents that you would be supporting user generated add on content, I was wondering if the default UI for 2.0 would be customizable(I.E. scalable, movable, more action bars etc....)
Another thing that I was not quite clear on. Is PvP, is it a mandatory type of thing, will it be limited to zones. Essentially is it an option or would it be something that is thrust upon us. (I.E. If we walked in the zone would we be flagged automatically for pvp, or something more along the lines of if you kill some gaurd you would get flagged for pvp. Or maybe its more like something you would queue up for.)

Regarding instanced dungeons. There is concern that having primarily instanced content takes away from the feeling of exploration. Time and party restrictions along with the ability to play cross server have raised concerns by other players with experience in other MMO's over decreased social interaction and overall lapse in the feeling of adventure. How will you make sure that these things won't happen? Could we be allowed solo dungeons, dungeons only for the server the character is on, and non timed dungeons?
