Ramuh ex could be annoying in df.
But Hard mode Ramuh shouldn't even be a challenge.
I try to get all the Sophia weapons, so I run Sophia EX pretty often although I got her bird long ago... but the dice hate me, whenever a weapons drops that I don't have yet, I roll 20 or less. Thus I decided to sign up as summoner, so I can roll Need on at least that weapon. My equip is, thanks to raiding on BLM, quite fine, only the weapon is still i230, and I asked an experienced summoner for advice, concerning opener and rotation, thus I'm quite confident in my skills, and my crystal ball says I'm doing about 1,5-1,6k. So, everything is cool, right?
...right...?
WRONG!
Out of more than 20 tries on summoner, I got exactly one clear. ONE! Because
-Tanks don't hold aggro, getting the DPS killed
-Tanks don't use CDs for the tankbuster, or don't Provoke
-Healers react extremely slowly and don't top up the tanks before the tankbuster
-Bards sing Requiem although the only mage is dead and the healers are literally dry on MP
-Dragoons Elusive Jump and bards Repelling Shot themselves off the platform
-People are standing under Teleos casting Aero III
-People mistake a big Quasar for a small one
-People don't stack properly for the black/white rings
And the worst thing of all:
-PEOPLE LEAVE AFTER THE FIRST WIPE.
Seriously, we wiped to enrage at 4% with an unused LB, we could have totally made it, but no, people just leave.
I will never get my weapons like this ò.ó

I queued for a roulette and got a in-progress Garuda EX. They had echo. The other smn dismissed their egi after Garuda's aerial blast because they could not be bothered to control it to not kill the spiny plume. A dps loss on their end but whatever, we won. I simply shook my head.

If a tank knows what they're doing and time their sprints correctly this isn't specifically a bad thing. I see it a lot in xelphatol, where the mob groups are spaced very far apart.
Character limitations.
Oooh, shiney...

Tip: System > Character Config > Item Settings > Inventory/Retainer Interface > Expanded (now check ur inventory)

My biggest pet peeve as a summoner is when the tank is doing a really big pull and I'm trying to get Garuda to use contagion on the enemy I DoT'd before I bane them, annnnd another DPS changes their target to mine and kills it prematurely.
I don't think they do it on purpose, but every time I'm just

Lol this totally happens way too often. My biggest pet peeve as a summoner is when the tank is doing a really big pull and I'm trying to get Garuda to use contagion on the enemy I DoT'd before I bane them, annnnd another DPS changes their target to mine and kills it prematurely.
I don't think they do it on purpose, but every time I'm just
Me: "Aww man I'm clicking all the wrong buttons tonight!"
Friend: "You're i190, you can't click a wrong button unless it is no buttons"
Me: "lol"

Depends on the job as well I find. I sprint on my paladin. Because my aoe enmity is flash. Doesn't matter if I only have 300tp when the pull is finished.
Sprinting gets me a couple of seconds ahead of most dps. Which gives me time to line up mobs so any aoe conals overlap and stuff before dps start smashing them.
Hate tanks that just stand in the middle and have conals and aoes shooting out in all directions. Requiring huge movements to dodge unsteady of just 1 or 2 steps

Two trial DR days in a row as SCH - two days in a row where I'm partied with an AST who went Nocturnal. *Shrugs then continues to pound the DPS buttons hard*
