Yeah the difference is marginal at best. As long as all your ogcd and heavy hitting skills are covered by most buffs, the difference won't make or break your overall dps.

What do you guys think about this BiS setup? Uses the same items as the other BiS setup except the it uses the Alexandrian Belt over the Shire

Drops 30 SS @ 604 total SS, drops 30 Crit, gains 57 Det
I feel that that 30 SS from 604 to 634 is mostly wasted.

Has anyone tried doing 3 man timegate with drg? I'm looking for vids/fflogs to compare. My group has been getting mixed results sending our drg along with sch/war.
I honestly don't know if DRG would work or not, but there is one detail on time gates I haven't found in English so might as well share it: the time gate enrage is based on the "Temporal reconfiguration" progress bar, you wipe if it gets to 100 (it's under "Duty Information"; you probably have never paid attention to it before unless it determines how hard a boss' 2hr hits, like in Extreme Leviathan or Thordan's Reign).
As bestthe JP blog I copied this fromI can tell, it starts when someone touches a mob (or presumably if you wait too long, automatically) and from then ~1-2 points per second per live enemy with a human target or ~4-5 points if no human target. So there is actually such a thing as trying to start too soon on those if we're talking Solid State Drive Man vs. Ms. gotta-have-my-dots. The difference may buy you a few seconds.

Thanks, that's what I suspected too. Sometimes the bar fills up in ~35s, sometimes in ~40s, so possibly server tick matters too. Nin would generally be a better choice to send in since drg can put disembowel on the boss for brd/mch and nin seems to have better burst with trick attack saved up, sadly my group runs double casters and we only have one drg as melee.
How much potency would be lost if you swap idc and ttt on the second loop? Im trying to optimize a12s and Im thinking of swapping those if im pretty certain I wont be able to hit positionals because of stack mechanics like the stack after prey, and inceptions?
Instead, consider ignoring the stack mechanic. You only need 4 people to absorb the damage with relative ease. If tanks and healers stack this leaves all dps, more importantly the melees to do what they please. This applies for both the first phase and inception.
I was paying quite a lot of attention to it, especially because I LB I have nothing to do for 2-3 seconds. From what I noted, it's 2 points per add per second(Not completely sure about the time) if a person is not engaged and 1 if someone is engaged. When I LB I don't engage with the add and it ticks for 5 instead of 4. But need a bit more testing, could go through my streams and look more into it as I'm quite interested in exactly how much time you have in there.
Looking through my video, it ticks every 2 seconds meaning that completely unengaged it would take 2*100/2*4 seconds. Or 25 seconds to wipe. All engaged is double of that, so 50 seconds.

Good gosh, the more I look at itemization of this tier the sadder I become.
Why so much Det?
Why so much Skill speed?
Who so little Crit?
Seems like the only thing that might take us out of this hole is the final Relic, which will obviously be super painful to get.
