No, that's not how it works, I'm pretty certain they have one single group that maintains the game, when it is required to be maintained. And more or less, Yoshi and co. were off enjoying their 5~ month holiday. Things are pre-planned, they don't work on 3.1 directly after 3.0 comes out, they have 3.1 done by the time 3.0 is halfway done or something to that effect, then they gradually modify that content until release. MMO development is always pro-active, only reactive when they do 2.0x or 3.0x patches, as they are fixing minimal issues.

As a girl I'd really like an option that'd make it to where I'm not constantly looking at my own panties when I use glamour that has a skirt. It's not a big deal it's just something I've thought a lot while playing this. Probably more trouble then it's worth to fix in the grand scale of things that need to be improved.

Actually, I didn't say that at all. They have this stuff planned out months in advance and release things on a schedule and that's pretty well known. Even at FanFest, they said they have [some]things planned all the way into 5.0. All I had pointed out was there was no "5 months of no content" and gave patch notes, with their dates, as well as the content they had. Only patch 3.07 had nothing new to offer between 3.0 and 3.1 - just job balancing. No where did I imply any of the things you just said.

EDIT: Remember, we don't even have 4.0 yet, and that's seven months away, let alone 5.0 - which we can probably safely assume will be another two years from 4.0's release. It also wouldn't surprise me if they have major plot points figured out for 6.0, assuming things don't get concluded story-wise. I have no way of knowing how long SE plans to have a story going for FFXIV nor how long they intend to keep the game running.

It happens with literally any skirt. I'm playing skyrim on my computer right now so I don't feel like opening up my game to take screenshots just to explain, but my crafter glamour looks like this

And every single crafting stance and most mounts will show my panties clear as day with the plain long skirt. That's not sexy, especially not on a Lala, that's just awkward to look at and immersement reducing. It wouldn't be so bad if I could just change the color so it's not as noticeable but there's a thousand other things I'd rather the dev team work on.

I think people in the thread lack insight on what the Japanese office environment is like too. Like how there is no privacy, how it's rude to leave before your boss leaves, and the entire concept of "Karoshi"

the patch 3.1 from HW release was a little over 5 months, cuz they took a break and how dare they! :P Children in Azeroth have to wait for over a year to get stuff.....you insensitive bastages :P

It was closer to 5 months, 3.0 to 3.1 was a longer wait than the usual 3 months.

Add to this that before HW released they hinted at a 4 month time before 3.1 already. Hell I thought they had meant all patches were going to be 4 months apart, which i thought was still a decent enough release schedule :P So the result was they were a month ish delayed cuz they decided they should rest instead of dying XD
