*shrug* Well, the underwear looks very unappealing anyway, maybe that's why?
I think if they included "how many players wear/glamour bikinis" the results would be different x)
But yeah, actually, as a female gamer I DO apprechiate that it's not just obvious male-targeted fanservice all the way like with most MMOs (especially the Korean ones).
Nothing wrong with wearing something more revealing when you WANT to, but if that is ALL we have, it sucks.

I think most players that are negetive regarding yoshida and the dev team overlook the fact that he's operating as both producer and director. Two positions, its the work load usually handled by two people. I'm really grateful for his motivation, without his vision this game wouldn't be what it is today and I hope he leads for many more years to come.

Yeah. So many games only give you two options - be a dude in big bulky armor, or be a girl in a bikini. What ultimately sold me on FFXIV was that this game is not restricted like that. Armors that are bulky are bulky on both genders, and clothes that are skimpy are skimpy on both. Either way you have choice.

The thing about sexy character models and skimpy armor is that it doesn't hurt to be an option. I like XIV's variety of armor. It only becomes an issue when there's an extreme of something. This isn't Boobs and Seoul where the point is to hook those sweaty teen wallets on the cash shop for more oiled up breasts with suspiciously no nipples. If a new string bikini gets added, so should a new set of realistic armor. If men get a sexier set of straps, then they should also get some awesome new plate wear. I like to dress my retainers up to look like strippers, why? Cause it's an option. Yet I also see some on estates that look like an estate's mini militia.

The issue with longer skirts is clipping unfortunately. I don't mind panties everywhere, but there are plenty of options to get around that. Long skirts clip with the legs really badly, making them worthless as your legs just come through the skirt all the damn time. a physics update is what the game needs.

They had a 6month break of literally no content coming out earlier. They need to do some job switching. Like a different director for different expansions and so on. To give more chances for variation and different ideas.
