Will we see the Regalia in FFXIV?

On FF XV regalia Type F is like the regalia on the ground. You have to use a button to fly. Its like a normal car but transform to fly. I dont know if there is a video for show. Better than words

Yeah, and in XV that works, because there are roads for it to use while on the ground. Here in XIV it wouldn't be able to land (unless it were just for a moment in a mounting/dismounting animation). But it wouldn't be able to travel on the ground because that would require being able to jump and climb over rough terrain. So I think to bring it in, they'd have to exclude the part about transforming back and forth and just bring it's in-flight version only. (And although its transformed flying version is cool looking, it's actually the regular car version that's more iconic, so getting just the type-f would kind of miss the point.)

If yokai watch can fit, I'm pretty sure the Regalia can.

I'm tired of repeating how that mount would already simply be to big for Eorzea, a land without proper roads and arease that arent designed to support a huge mount like that.

The Yokai might be silly and dont fit designwise into this world, but they're spirit-like creatures, designed to be cute (something we have in FF too - moogles, tomberries etc.) and they're small, both the minions and the mounts - they fit into this world "physically", dont clip through everything and dont block the whole screen for other players. Why is your best argument always "lore doesnt matter anymore anyways" when I'm not even talking about lore?

1) The car would most likely be even bigger
2) Please, tell me, how good that looks already and how often you see people using that mount... I would rather not have them waste time and ressource on something thats not being used later because it looks so silly to balance your hugeass car over those small roads in east shroud

well that's a shame. I'm still mad at the Bald Localizer guy (forget his name) for naming FIRE FIRA FIRAGA to Fire 1 Fire 2 and Fire 3. Ridiculous.

I'm not quite sure why the Behemoth mount is the one people are comparing. You have about as much space while riding it as each of the two side by side characters riding in the Regalia, so figure Regalia as nearly twice the width and a lot longer as well. On the other hand, there's also the Twintainia mount that probably does exceed the Regalia's size. (And both Behemoth and Twintania have severe clipping issues in many places.)

The bigger physical issue is the terrain. To get around Eorzea, any mount needs to share the same ability to jump and climb over obstacles as our current mounts can. If they tried giving that to a car, it would no longer resemble the Regalia it was intended to represent.

I brought that up as an example because its the biggest ground-mount we're having (points for Twin and Midgardsomr aswell) though and it already looks really of and out of place because this world just isnt build to support huge mounts in most areas - and well, the car would only look "worse"
