Wanting an explanation for said op of scholar cause I'm not seeing it in my experienc

Thank you for this stats I know them ha cause Ive played scholar a decent amount but def cant rem them out of the top of my head thanks for that, but I dono I dont feel like Im just defending whm, I just honestly feel like Ive had better experiences with them than scholars sense Ive been playing the game maybe its just bad luck on my part. And Im not callin people out I mean Im not a perfect gamer by any means its just from what I can recall sense Ive been playing

Nah that is fine. While I would say that SCH is OP in the context of FFXIV, in the context of generic MMORPG class balance they are in a good place. FFXIV in general is quite well balanced. If you prefer WHM, just keep on sticking with it.

Only thing I find (threw my FC/RL Friend who uses SCH as their main when I'm PLD, for 4-man stuff) is they have a Pet that can semi-handle the tank in short bursts for big pulls while they go Cleric & put dots up (rouse I think is what makes this a "Short burst" senario) plus if micro-managed right that pet can handle most if not all of the 4-man dungeons ingame at moment (with SCH really only haveing to drop Cleric for mass DMG or dumb ppl). I just think its like WAR more visual pay off for more skill put in. I've done just fine for the same pulls I do as PLD with WHM I just can't DPS as easy as my SCH friend cause I don't have that safety healing pet net (or my stance dance skills suck compaired to his)

It's OP in hard content, average in dungeons.

Just assume if X job is good and there is no context, its good for savage/ex primals.

Actually, even in dungeons it's still OP. A friend of mine tanked a big pull on her Scholar all because the Faerie could keep her up. AST could probably handle it, but WHM may bottom out having to spam heal, especially after initially DPSing. Basically, as people have already outlined, Scholar just has no drawbacks. Oddly enough, the same can now be said of Astro.
