    Id agree with that.

The ones who will leave however are the biggest QQ'er and whiners and they won't be missed at all.

I'm definitely staying on. Yesterday was an interesting moment for me in FFXIV. For the first time in recent history I was able to sit down with the game and just play it all day without getting bored and just playing something else. I mean it was my day off so I had all the time in the world but once I logged into FFXIV in the morning I was just on a roll. I did a large handful of mining leves, a miner quest, got some new gear, attempted hard mode Ifrit with some randoms and went out to the Kobold Stronghold to farm Coffer Keys and Spiritbond some of my remaining Dated equipment.

It's the first time in a long while I've been entertained by an MMO enough to just play it and not get bored, it's a significant thing for me

    What do you think?

It will be interesting to see most of the people who whine all over the forums here about it 3 months from now who claimed they were leaving.

    Rofl.
I was thinking the same thing when i did the "vote" poll threads.

Usually, reverse psychology works to get people on the forum to submit. I figured i would just be honest since i don't think SE would fall for it. Who knows.

The game looks darker. that's what ffxiv has been needing. I hated this happy feel you got almost everywhere's you went. The new UI looks great. Everything pops out and isn't so stale looking like it looks now. It's up to date. I didn't see random floating, glitter mushrooms in the sky like tera or a stationary big view camera like rift. You can't make that comparison at all. I'm sorry, we usually agree on a lot of things, but not this time. The game is a year away, just wait it out.

You hit the nail on the head my friend. Their hopes are that if enough people complain Sqeenix will say "well GEE we'd better not charge them!"

Bah...this game is worth paying for. If you don't think so then go. End of story.

That game was Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2.
You know, one of the best selling console games of all time... some boycott.

I paid at release, I will pay now. The game is fun and different than the standard cookie cutter mmorpg.

Then they'll complain and whine that they get no 'reward' or 'thank you gift' because they decided to ditch the game while those that stay get it. They'll cite "it's unfair blah blah".

    It's how it always goes.

It may not look like tera but the type of art work does like a western game tera may not be western but it base of the layout and rules set by WoW. All i want to know if the look of the overall game like our char and everything would still look nice a real or if they switching over to more of a aion, tera, rift type of MMO if so i have to see for myself before putting anymore time into the game i love the art and the way the game look nice and i hope that not change it would feel more of a downgrade then a upgrade to me.
