I honestly can't believe people would not want to support this game other than just paying subscription.. all this toxicity over my wanting to and willingness to pay extra for a fashion item for my chocobo. But seriously, take that toxicity elsewhere. I -will- pay money in Mog Station, done so for my Tataru Minion (worth it), Y'shtola Minion (way worth it), Huzzah and the Bomb Dance emote, and just to spite you all, I bought the Eastern Dress too.

I payed my money for it.. I am not ashamed, and I will also promote supporting Square Enix with my money. You mizers who are hating on it can just cook in that special place in the seventh hell. =)

It's not about your spending habits, no one minds what you buy and how much.
People aren't boycotting the cash shop as a movement, and people didn't mean to tell you off. They meant that whatever is in cash shop isn't going ig.
Imagine all our minions weren't earnable for doing dungeons, buying with currency (gil/mgp/poetics), special fates, potd and so on, but strictly from cash shop, or even a consistent amount from cash shop. Then all those ig features that offer them are made more stale.
Similarly, if crafters wouldn't have outfits and minions they could craft they'd feel the loss, and so would the average player regarding accessibility.

You're too silly if you spend your money on things you don't care for (and therefore were buying anyway) because some person on a forum wanted something ig instead because this is paid subscription.
The interesting argument some people bring up is that the cash shop enables both taking from the people that can splurge, and using the money to make more game content everyone has access to.

I think you probably haven't grinded 250 Bismarck ex kills :P When I was trying to get the bird before the totem exchange for one, that whale was terrible.

I just like how the OP felt the need to come back a month after the last post was made (two months after topic creation) just to tell us all how we're wrong for, basically, placing the value of our own money above such things as cosmetic pixels. If SE/Yoshi's Team ordain that the only way to obtain said items is the Cash Shop, so be it. I simply won't buy it. But why the hell would anyone voluntarily say that they'd pay an absurd amount of their own hard-earned (presumably) money for something that holds literally no actual value. Ask for it to be added to the game, and let them tell you "No. It shall be placed in the Cash Shop." Don't do their work for them; last I checked, I wasn't on their payroll.

Wow... this sure is something... You do realise that ASKING for things to be put in the cash shop does hurt the game right? Nobody cares what you buy from the cash shop, it's your money, you can fill SEs pockets all day. What bugs people is that not everyone feels that they should be obligated to pay money on top of their sub for items that frankly should just be in the game anyway, and this particular item is one of the most vanilla, basic items I have ever seen. If SE sees that there is a market for something on the cash shop (i.e. your post), and it goes on the cash shop, you have ultimately denied a lot of people an item that rightfully should just be added to the game.

Oh and for the record, we all support SE with our wallets as we all pay a subscription

Be better off sending it to marketing I'd think, dev team just makes the stuff, they don't sell it.

No need, they read the forums... you know, that thing that they use for feedback (research the story of the pvp season reward minion).

Also... you seem to be devolving into an "I want", and "everyone but me is wrong for reasons" tantrum, and I'd rather not encourage that. I'll also let you know that I praised the cash shop a few pages back, but I do not praise your attitude, as it only brings toxicity, and destroys rational debate.
