Well... thats what you mostly see when looking at a JRPG grinder...
Japan players like that heavy grinding!
It will share the same fate: players will play for about a year and the switch game.
At least, thats what i see with many JRPGames.

And if this census is correct, you've got another 185,094 people to ask.

Or, if you'd rather do it statistically, you'd still need to ask ~12,000 people to get a relatively good sample size with an acceptable margin of error.
500 is just too small a sample to have any meaning, especially if the sample is biased. I'm betting you only asked people you already knew on a single server.

Quick notes:
JP servers lead again with 90k. NA and EU combine for around the same.

According to the graphs 32 of 64 servers are JP and EU+NA combined also 32. So it doesn't look that different to me. % are higher on JP tho. Is the combined population on EU and NA servers that much higher?

This is really inaccurate going by number of mounts is equal to the number of people with clears. I have the mount because I was the first to win the roll on it but we haven't cleared 8 times so not everyone has it in my static. The clear rate is much higher then this would lead you to believe since it only counts mounts.
