Given more support for M/K in FFXIV 2.0, will we have the option to move our characters with mouse clicks? (click on location, walk to location)

@ Darkshine. Well thanks for fleshing out your outrage however you still are on about this incomplete stuff. Perhaps that is what you might want to explain. Also thank you on that "youngling part" I dont know how old you are but you might be just a smidge older than I as I am 36. Nice to see older folks still passionate about gaming in general, now that I like to see.
Anyway, points are valid and the only thing I am fanatic about are good rpgs. You might lack vision and the courage to pay for something that will be awesome because I think we all agree that 2.0 is gonna rock so we can start there letting that be the thing we both agree on.
Allow me to expand on why I choose to pay to give you where I am coming from. I look at the sub fee as a way of putting money down on something that I think will pay off later. Not unlike an investor that will plop down cash for someone elses vision. Now while the returns will not be cash per se, it will be in the years of entertainment to follow. Playing a game for free whether it is good or crap was at the end of the day all of our call. We all continued to play and complain and now that it will come time to "choose" now all of a sudden others want to jump ship or pay a reduced fee because they believe the game is half complete. Now lets examine the 50% complete statement many are using to support their argument. Yoshi P said that content wise the game is 50% complete. He didnt say which version now did he? For all we know things can be further along than they admit. Is it likely? Probably not but it is one of many possibilities. The fact is neither of us can know for sure because last time I looked I was a fireman not working for SE.
I respect your decision to not pay due to you feeling that the game is not done it doesnt take a genius or a wise old man to figure that out. However, can you offer the same respect to someone who is not paying for an incomplete game, but are putting a down payment on something to be finished later.
When comnpanies announce that they are making a certain game and its something I might be interested in I go to my local game store and I put down some money if not all of it to reserve my copy. Or preorder so to speak. Well my monthly sub fee is two fold.
1) To support the only mmo that I plan on playing in the future.
2) To pay for something that I actually use finished or not it eventually will be done to most gamer's standards and I just dont mind paying.
Sorry for the long post but sometimes you have to give a bit of info on why we say what we say so that people can atleast understand instead of just assuming they know exactly where the poster is coming from.
Take it easy and lets cheer SE in whatever way we can for a successful FFXIV 2.0 shall we?

Since there will be multiple languages for audio, will the choice be affected by the region you download / buy 2.0 or will be those switchable at runtime?

First allow me to make some comments:
1. Though I am sure Yoshida-san had some input the final decision to to start charging a subscription fee and its timing was Wada-san's alone. Your concerns for this matter should be addressed to him and not the Dev Team.
2. I accept the need for SE to start charging subscriptions to help offset the continued developement costs and to keep this game afloat. Personnally I believe that they should have waited for the release of 1.21 as this was point at which Yoshida thought the game would be corrected and ready for future updates. That said I will continue to keep playing after December.
3. One of the reasons that I will keep playing is the fact Yoshida initially promised that we would not lose our progress once the process of salvaging this trainwreck was completed. I thank him for keeping that promise through V2.0 and as such I do not feel as if my time will be wasted.
4. After reading the downloads <3 times> this continues to be a massive undertaking. 14 months to V2.0. I think there will be alot of sleepless nughts in Tokyo between now and then. In the end I believe that they will have a product to be proud of.
Three questions:
1. To Wada-san are you planning to make any changes to the payment system as it relates to Click and Buy. Personnally I would not go within 100 miles of that oufit and if you continue to insist on using them you will lose alot of subscriptions both here and in FFXI.
2. Also to Wada-san. I paly both FFXI and this game. I pay by Crysta for reasons cited above. At present I can only have 10,000 Crysta on hand to pay for both games. Why can we not have a limit of 10,000 for each game that we play. With inopurtune timing I might not have enough on hand to pay for both games even though I have enough money to buy what I need.
3. To Yoshida-san.Your current Roadmap shows the PS3 release scheduled for early 2013. <Guess Amazon had some inside info when they changed their release date projection to 3/3/2013> The latest news that I have read shows that the PS4 will be released sometime within a year after that. Will this game be portable to the new console.
Thank you for your time.

Would the new graphic engine change the realism of the game? I for one love how the art work in the game looks and i fear that it would switch over to more Western/Korean type of graphic the concept art work showed to us is just very confusing on how the game would change can you tell us if the game would stay with the same type of realism?

i rather think that ppl who already left will forget about the game til 2013 and ppl who are still in the game and are now leaving won't come back. That is the reason why the few months too early won't cut it for SE and rather hurt them.
The reason why SE is in not the best financial position won't be solved by a few subs. I think its more the " we have loyal fans, why dont we try to let them pay now " , and some really wanna pay 50 EUR + 150 EUR development to get a full game and then keep paying for the game to maintain quality and keep rolling. I don't think that will work out.

Why do you insist on us killing cute things???? The next primal battle is the Malevolent Moogle (http://wdl.square-enix.com/ffxiv/dow...Outline_EN.pdf pg 14)... How many Kupos do we need to hear to get the gear that people want?
Just seems wrong, man...
