They are going to make gold coin the new currency and gil will go the way of dated gear, it wont be worth anything.

I have 8 crafts at 50. All I did was watch T.V. and spam standard for easy mode synths. Enjoy leveling those crafts in 1.19 and beyond everyone!

No. I remember when you would easily get up to 25k per leve in the beginning. Now 10 is already exceptional. Those like us (who started to play at day 1) definitely have an "unfair" advantage over newcomers; and I clearly see the problem with that.If people have a shit ton of gil from the beginning, then they rightfully deserve to have that much.
My character has an achievement for getting over 50k from 1 leve reward and i know of atleast 1 person who has an achievement for getting over 100k for 1 leve reward.

Dear OP Zumi,
im sorry but you got it all wrong. Making money is not- in anyway- dificult in FF14, and no you dont have to have expansive gear in order to make money. but ofc if you play "off and on" maybe you lack the time of making gils.(alot of threads around in the forum about how to make fast gil btw). but what do you want? do you want to obtain gils even faster as we do now? [10 level 30 leves give you about 45k~ e.g.] putting myself in your shoes id recommend you to find an entertaining way to make money, alot of possibilities out there, wich is why gil is cheap atm. Please stop complaining abot expansive stuff, since it is not expansive, its just on high numbers since its REALLY easy to obtain a seriouse amount of gil in this game atm!
