Probably a troll. There is no way someone could level WHM to 50 and not understand the basics of the job. Even if they levelled purely through PotD and never had to reliably solo heal, they would still know what CS does, or how to target other players properly, or what SoS is.

Even if they were drunk I doubt they would be that terrible.

Though I might be putting too much faith in the intelligence of PUGs again.

Did Sohm Al for the first time earlier.

As soon as we entered the instance, the tank instantly left. Ok then.

We get a second tank a few minutes later. He decided to pull half the room when we weren't ready and we ended up wiping. Second tank leaves.

Then we got a third tank. This tank was great. We cleared the instance with no problems.

I just don't get why people up and leave for no reason.

Had a little time before work so i decided to tank a leveling roulette, still have 2 to complete for the weekly relic quest. My luck gave me sohm al.....
The first pull taught me that this was going to be painfull, dps was very slow, and i dont know what the healer was doing but at most i saw cure , and very occasional a cure 2, yet they were almost oom????

So babypulls, heresy i know. we went slow but ok to the first boss. I waited for the healer to recover mp, but the dps where having none of it and pulled. Despite this the boss died surprisingly easy.
then next trash map i was still getting the first group together and still considering of pulling in the second when again a dps made that decision, and pulled the next group and led them to me, grabbed them reluctantly but it became soon clear that the healer couldnt heal me and we wiped again.
That made me commit the greatest heresy of all and just take the penalty and leave. Didnt have time for a 40+ minute run with countless wipes. All this time not a peep of the other 3 players.

Did ARF( its the first lv 60 dungeon), I went as BLm for the first time( just got to lv 60 yesterday) had another blm who was using freaking flare all the time! Like when we fight bosses, she never used any 4 spells just flare, flare , flare. The tank defended her when I said" Fire 4 is better than flare" but tank says" Flare is better than fire iv, uses less mp" <.< like I cant even process that statement

But, but a tripple or quad flare is soo good for ripping aggro of the tank. thats what i allways heard from our fc blm.

Just got out of an abandoned Ramuh EX with the worst PLD I've ever met trying to tank it with me. No clear for me, still.

So, we zone in, and a couple of us start explaining the mechanics. It's pretty clear this is too complex for some of the group out of the gate, but whatever. Should still be clearable, right? Explain everything to the group, and I pull. Thunderstorm hits. I'm waiting for him to grab the orbs and swap. And waiting. And waiting. And I die to Shock Strike. We wipe shortly thereafter. No biggie, maybe he misunderstood. We explain it again, he says he's got it. I pull, same thing happens. This time, people are asking him in chat "Grab orbs". Nothing.

Next try, he pulls, so I can grab orbs and swap. I'll just figure out how to do it solo after that point, I guess. Anyway, I grab the orbs, Voke, and he takes it right back off of me shortly thereafter. Dies to Shock Strike. The party's getting pretty mad at this point. So, he says "I'm too high for this, kick me". Are you freaking serious?

We try to vote abandon, and he immediately goes to pull the boss to try and lock us in. I just... I just want to play this game. Is that so much to ask?

Was helping a FC mate get through A12. It was a nice run except for this one guy who had no idea what to do with the stacking mechanic. And of course he got it three times. The last time, he actually stood still and the other nonmarked people stacked on him and then he took off. I don't know if he was trolling or not. I mean if he was, all he accomplished was getting himself killed.

Not really, I do lot of Fates on alt-classes and it's not uncommon for me to meet healers around "solo-fating" never using Cleric-stance, taking ages to kill monsters xD. You can level from 1 to 60 doing Fates and using very badly your skills, with sometimes the Chocobo companion doing a better job than the player

Log in and fairly quickly see a LS msg "Can a tank please queue in progress for Toto-Rak?" so I queue and as it pops I see a LS msg "But you have to deal with this healer...". So ok, I'm not much of a tank but I can tank Toto-Rak. I pull 2 mobs just to see how this party is going to go and I nearly die. Hmm. So we run around and get to the first little magitech thingie and boss and I die. I notice that the healer is healing in cleric stance so I ask them nicely to turn it off. They have a sprout and it is an easy mistake. No response, nothing. Other party members suggest healer should turn it off as it is hurting the heals. Nothing. We discuss in party chat if we should kick the healer and still no response. I am loathe to kick as long as we live so we just keep going. On the 2nd boss, before we start I ask again to turn off CS and again nothing. We ended up kicking them and getting a nice white mage for the final leg of the dungeon.

I don't know why I didn't just kick earlier...

Sounds like a bot in all honesty. Seen that a few times.

Edit: A11N is making me rage. I had an AST who, number one, was in Dinural when we had a WHM. Next, when I got the prey they didn't try to heal or anything.... no, they pre-casted a res. I should've respawned and gone "oops" >.<

Who would level with Fates as a healer? Dungeons give more exp.

Bird flew into my window as I was healing Gubal HM at 5 in the morning. Wiped my friend tanking and just sat there looking dumbly as the big pull they did tore us apart.
