Cross-class glamour
Individual glamour sets for all jobs
I hope Stormblood brings....
- Magenta and Chartreuse Yellow Dye
- Glamour Log
- Glamour set for each Job
I hope Stormblood doesn't bring pointless filler fetch quests that belong in games like WoW, HW has been so good with this, keep it up!
I hope Stormblood brings more newer Primals like Ravana was in HW. I love classic re-imagined eidolons but Ravana is probably my favorite Final Fantasy summon now right next to Alexander. I hope he becomes a series staple but I'm going off topic.
I hope Stormblood allows me to discard things from my retainers (if there is a way to actually do this already I'd like to know, please!)
I hope Stormblood brings more emphasis on battle content rather than fluff FoTM trinkets
(Pipe dream it'll never happen because lore reworking, programming, etc but...) I hope Stormblood completely redoes the summoner class so summons now act as stands only showing up very briefly when abilities are cast like they are in games like Persona 3 or better example Dissidia Duodecium when Yuna attacks. None of this floating jelly bean shit. Rydia would not be proud.
I hope Stormblood (this is gonna sound silly) keeps its identity as a Final Fantasy game, too many people on OF and Reddit always wanting to make changes to the game to make it more like WoW when they should infact just stick with WoW if they don't like it "Please stop referencing things I don't get!, add this from WoW, add that from WoW, why does this [staple thing] happen in a FF game?" but I know Yoshida is very passionate about this series, tons of respect for him for bringing Tactic Ogre stuff to the game (I know it's not FF but still, still SE x3)
I hope Stormblood brings midsized areas, HW areas were pretty but I thought they were way too big, I think something like the average ARR area with half the length of Sea of Clouds would be nice, wasn't much to do in them and I found once you got on your chocobo and rode on foot in those places there really wasn't much to them. I know this is completely subjective and if people find something to do in these areas then I'm all ears. I've not taken up gathering yet so maybe I'll find better appreciation of them.
WoW players or what other game they came from know their game sucks really bad so they come over to this game and demand it be more like the game they just left because it's not within their comfort zone, I don't get it either. It's even more annoying if you bring up one mechanic from FFXI or any other FF game that you liked or want to see reworked in this game the forum throws a fit.
You shouldn't call games horrible if you've not played them, that's silly.

I do dislike it and not a bad question
The game hooked me in at lower levels when some of what i said was the opposite
For example, gear sub 50 had random stats, class to job systems were embraced etc.
The game changed for the worse, in my opinion, over time.
The main reason I stick around are my friends, who I am constantly nagging to swap games with me
That said I do enjoy some aspects of the game.
Hope they finally add Garlean glamours.
Judge armors.
Gaius' gunblade, Livia's gunfists, Nero's cannonhammer, Regula's drk gunsword, Nael's gunspear.
Can't stay an Eorzea savage forever.
Only the aetherial (pink) gear had randomly selected stats, and that gear kinda acted like crafted gear with possible melded stats already included (example: Aetherial Iron Gauntlets and Iron Gauntlets). The majority of the gear dropped in the 1-49 dungeons was still green quality, and had set stats. All the Grand Company gear was like this too, as well as the job gear.
Nearly every job overshadowed classes by the time you unlocked them, except maybe BRD, since they mostly got songs early on. I'm not sure how that was different. Cross-class abilities were as important back then, as they are now.
I'm not sure how that example hooked you, since it hasn't really changed much since then. Dungeons still drop green gear, crafted gear is still around (which allow you to add stats of your own choice to it, similar to aetherial gear), cross-class abilities are still there, jobs still overshadow classes (although I've heard some classes are useful when soloing PotD). The only difference being that there's no more aetherial gear, but that's alleviated by the fact that you can just meld crafted gear (which has become more accessible in the more recent patches).
Perhaps it is you who changed, instead of the game?
How were classes embraced? They have always been a hollow equivalent to the jobs which succeed them. Lancer, for example, is literally Impulse Drive spam until level 26. Four levels after that and you're done with it. Conjurer has most of its offense spells replaced by better versions. Classes have always an afterthought, and frankly, one aspect of the game I feel contributes to people's boredom. The aforementioned two and Arcanist being chief offends usually.
Inventory slots over 9000
Classes existed already before the devs started to think about jobs. Then the jobs came, skills got moved around (all element spells were originaly CNJ spells) or removed completely (most of THM spells) and classes became weaker. With ARR classes became even more weaker (less cross-skills, can't equip skills from a class in another disciple).
So, classes are no afterthought, just got nerfed very hard.
