Thank you, really thanks for your reply.I stun after the tether appears that attaches him to his target. Stun resistance can be a problem, especially if people are using them as part of their rotation. Usually it's up to the tanks, since they'll always have a stun available; not all dps get one. If nothing else, ask the tank, or tell them you'll handle stuns.

I made a personal bingo card for stuff I run into every week and wanted to share

Just got out of Snowcloak with what's possibly the worst run I've ever been in, with a healer who claims that WHM is her main, but plays even worse than newbies. Spamming Cure II with every damage the tank takes, no matter how miniscule, til she runs out of MP. Didn't even use shroud. We wiped at 2nd and 3rd bosses at least twice because she either 1) runs out of mp, 2) stands in mechanics, wiping herself, then the tank. No regen on tank, no medica II. Just c2 c2 c2 all the way until MP runs out. URGH. You may look swanky with your savage gears, but C2 isn't the save-all and definitely standing in mechanics doesn't help either!
Achievement Unlocked: LOLGOON

Did Sohm Al for the first time earlier.
As soon as we entered the instance, the tank instantly left. Ok then.
We get a second tank a few minutes later. He decided to pull half the room when we weren't ready and we ended up wiping. Second tank leaves.
Then we got a third tank. This tank was great. We cleared the instance with no problems.
I just don't get why people up and leave for no reason.

This is one that I was actually the dumb person.
Queued up mentor roulette on WAR and got A4. Had a PLD as the other tank. Figured I'd have to OT something. The following convo happened:
Me: I don't think I've ever OTed this before...
PLD: It's fine if you want to MT.
Me: ...I don't know how to MT either...
We got through just fine after a quick tutorial. Thanks to that party for putting up with a fail mentor!

Did ARF( its the first lv 60 dungeon), I went as BLm for the first time( just got to lv 60 yesterday) had another blm who was using freaking flare all the time! Like when we fight bosses, she never used any 4 spells just flare, flare , flare. The tank defended her when I said" Fire 4 is better than flare" but tank says" Flare is better than fire iv, uses less mp" <.< like I cant even process that statement
Great selections, but I think you may have forgotten a few things I'd like to suggest:
- Tank trying to "tank" in DPS stance.
- Tanks arguing with each other over who's responsible for tanking what.
- Healers DPSing in Cleric Stance and expecting the other healer to heal everything.
- Healers DPSing while not in Cleric Stance and expecting the other healer to heal everything.
- Healers arguing with each other over who should be healing.
- Tank pulls pack of mobs outside of an AoE LB while it's casting.
- Tank facepulling mobs so AoEs can't hit everything properly.
- Arguments devolving into salty name-calling.
- Change "Duty Finder couple" to "Duty Finder premade", sounds more likely.
- DPS who are 60 ilvls above the tank, yet refuse to cut back and blame the tank for not holding aggro.
- DPS not using basic self-buffs.
- DPS not using DoTs.
- Anyone wearing level 1 glamour gear anywhere because glamours are news to them.

I actually do run into couples a lot who end up making the fight more complicated than it needs to be over something silly. Like I'm 100+ Sophia clears trying to get my bird and I've had multiple run ins with a melee DPS and a Healer with the same last name who insist on stacking together when there's multiple ranged in the party. I inevitably wind up with the tank when this happens, end up getting vuln stacks trying to stack with my partner in time, and dying to her room wide AoE when I could've res'd people(I main SMN and it's mostly all I've ever played) and saved the healers a lot of trouble.
If other people would like to try making their own, I got the template from here. The more the merrier!

Doing 50 roulette as dual DPS with spouse yesterday (must. finish. anima) and get Stone Vigil HM. WHM wearing lvl 50 artifact gear apologizes for being rusty at the job. Tank full pulls to dragonflies and dies when the WHM doesn't follow. I thought at that point it was the tank's fault for over pulling on an out of practice healer. I had no idea our healer was more than just "rusty".
Tank pulls smaller and dies two pulls in because WHM is healing in cleric stance. Tank tells him to turn it off when he heals. "I don't know what cleric stance does." We all try to explain that cleric is for DPSing, "But I don't want to DPS" he says. We tell him to just turn it off and focus on healing.
At first boss he runs himself out of mana casting nothing but Cure II and we wipe. Run back, he does it again but I manage to LB the boss dead before the tank drops. Tank tries to explain to him not to cast Cure II unless it's free or if he needs to catch up on heals. "I don't get what you mean." I try to explain as well as my husband who mains WHM. "Sorry. I don't understand shit."
Next pull, we all die as he chain casts Cure on himself. I tell him he's doing it, "no I'm not". Tank agrees and tells him she got no heals, he was healing himself. "No, I wasn't!"
Husband and I debate kicking him but decide instead to just leave and go bake some cookies. I still don't know if he was really that clueless, drunk, or trolling.
