FFXIV Crashes my Graphics Drivers

Hello,

Recently this game will constantly crash my graphics drivers. It will force both of my screens unrecoverably black but other applications will continue to run. I receive the following error message:

ffxiv_dx11.exe has been blocked from accessing graphics hardware.

I have tried a few fixes that people have posted elsewhere, even editing some registry files that might help. But nothing seems to fix this. I will sometimes go hours with no crashes, other times I will instantly crash on start up.

Please help me with this issue, the game has become unplayable for me and it is incredibly disappointing.

I have the same issue in a thread not far below this one. The DirectX Fatal error thread. It's the same thing. It's happened since patch 3.4 and only happens in DirectX11. DirectX9 is alright.

Thank you for the heads up! I will give that a try, and hopefully I do not get anymore crashes. I do hope for a more permanent solution on the game's part though.

Agreed. If our machines can run with DirectX11 and have been running with it prior to 3.4 we shouldn't be having this issue.
