Not to mention that this is a Japanese based game. Anime and cuteness plays a big part of their culture. It would be strange to pick up a Japanese game and not have some inspiration from Anime.

It was not racist. Just poor choice of words. Final Fantasy games have and will always be influenced by some form of Japanese culture. Anime, which is also a big part of Japanese culture also plays a big part on the design of the game. Cuteness is no stranger to Sqaure Enix.

So I guess Roegadyn (and the other four races) just don't exist, eh? If what was apparently said at Fan Fest was true (regarding that SE won't make a not-cute race because the Japanese players won't like them), then SE will need to snuff that policy. English, French, German and many other players of different nationalities all want different things.

While extremely unlikely to happen, I'd love it if SE made something similar to 'Galka' a third clan for Roegadyn (similar build and of course, the tail). Galka are adorable.
