Well, good. Yesterday got Aethero again. No problem at the beginning, got a little worried when tank said "nice and quick" when we killed first group of mobs, for we were not quick at all. Was he satirizing?
Then I found I hadn't been here so long that I couldn't get rid of the capped item lv, the slowed spell speed and the delayed server. Sometimes I failed in flare or ice IV, sometimes failed in MP estimating and restoring.
In a word, most of my rotations went wrong. The DPS was slower than normal. And tank kept on saying "good""well" such kind of words, which sounded strange.
Nothing could be worse than the last boss fighting. My rotations got wrong and wrong, Enochain almost betrayed me.
Until we finished the dungeon, I noticed at least two of us were new and tank was trying to encourage them. But had it anything to do with me? I just wanted to leave there as soon as possible.

This reminds me of a run a dud a little bit ago in the same dungeon. I got into it with my BRD brother. I was healing. The tank said, after the second boss, that "this is the best run I've had here". He had very good equipment, so he wasn't exactly.

The thing is? My brother and I had literally just complained, irl, about it being one of the worst runs we've had on a while. The tank couldn't hold hate, and the other DPS, who was a DRG, was lackluster. Not to mention my brother's accessories broke after we wiped on the first boss (let's just say I died because the adds were ignored and the tank turned the boss toward me, and he killed me when I was trying to heal everyone).

DPS was slow, and tank was lazy. I hope he was being sarcastic.

Got a "Ward Up" group where someone refused to hold off on killing guys at the same time... On the one hand, I think it only happened once each enemy. On the other hand, it happened once per enemy. Not good... Did you know that they can summon another enemy? Because I didn't before now!

On the bright side, I'm 95% certain I met the famous Selli (Noblesse, right?) and had her as my healer! She was great.

Had the oddest experience in potd a couple of days ago. Remember that the 61-70 block has a total dinosaur motif going on with it's trash mobs. So I sign up for those floors, get in, there's a blm with us. He takes one look at the mobs in the next room: 2 tyrannosaurs and a raptor.

blm: "Oh no!"
me: "?"
blm: "I'm afraid of dinosaurs!"
blm: "I have a dinosaur phobia!"
tank: "lol"
blm: "I can't do this!"
blm: *abandons duty*
everyone: "wtf?"

Joined Sophia (Extreme) through raid finder as SCH for bird farm. I've cleared this fight many times as MCH, AST and SCH.
I've noticed that my co-healer was not toping tanks or the party other than giving regen. Not that I mind, as long as no one dies it is fine.
But.. tanks died during tank busters a couple of times. I understand that if a tank dies from a tank buster with 1 hit, then it is their fault for not using CDs.
What happened is that the other tank was not swapping in time. So MT ate the tank buster and the auto attack.

MT pointed this out to OT, but OT said you can eat both tank buster and auto attack if healers focused on healing you.
My co-healer seemed to be annoyed by this and asked not to put pressure on healers. (Was he doing anything other than regen?)
I did see him in CS a couple of times but he was barely making 150 dps.
We wipe because it seems tanks are not toped or shielded after the tank busters to receive the auto attack.
I did my part by saving at least 1 aetherflow stack to heal that tank buster and adloquium before it hits.
We wiped a couple of times due to this.

The MT then says he will solo tank since the OT kept dying.
OT get upset and they start to argue. The co-healer was against healing this as solo tank.
I on the other hand got exited to try and heal it.
We give it a try and somehow it goes smooth until the MT makes a mistake and dies (Very silly mechanic mistake).
He then gets bad words from the OT and the co-healer. Next pull, the OT goes and kills himself by jumping off.
The co-healer sees this and doesn't bother healing at all (I did not notice this until we reached the ads phase).

I started dpsing the white Mage, looked away and then saw that the healer and half of the party did not look away.
They did not bother after knowing there was no OT.
This is when I realized that my co-healer doesn't want to bother with this anymore. But I was too late to heal the MT therefore he died. My heals alone were not enough.
So I over heal to get aggro on ads and position them for the other 3 dps alive to kill them.
They managed to kill 1 but the 3rd ad stayed alive. And we wipe..

We vote abandon after this and got the hell out of there.

I don't blame my co-healer. I blame the OT who refused to tank swap on time and was always late.

^^ For the most part (most part), when we fail as a group in Sophia EX it's because the tanks argue back and forth about the tank buster.

Almost every single time we get through a Sophia fight it's because the tanks help each other. While it is true there are a time here and there where Sophia enrages due to poor dps (or folks having no idea what they're doing), I would say 9 times out of 10 when we cannot get Sophia down it's because the tanks aren't helping each other.

Queued for level 50 roulette as BLM, drop into an in-prog Amdapor Keep normal with a WAR, AST, and MCH, just after the first boss.

Well, for the remainder of that run, I never once saw the AST use Royal Road, and the MCH did nothing but run around, never once used Hot Shot, completely ignoring any and all procs they got, and I don't even know what else.

The AST killed themself at the Demon Wall by straight-up running off the edge, and gave all the Balances and Arrows they got to the MCH, who, I will repeat, never once had the Hot Shot buff up. Then gave me, a BLM, Ewer.

I haven't had to hardcore carry such incompetents in a while.

Just got out of floors 71-80 of POTD with a white mage that refused to heal me. I've been going in as DRG to level it some for shiggles. I ran off on my own to get a coffer from a room they ran in but promptly ran out of for some reason. Anyway, the healer says to me "You ran off on your own so if you die it's your fault.". I respond "Please relax. If I do die I'm not going to blame you." Because really I wasn't! In the event that I did die it was my own damn fault so why would I blame them?

Somehow while I was off on my own killing bears to get the coffer everyone else died. I hit the carin of return for them so they can res and we can go along on our merry way. The next floor we end up on is one with no auto heal. Eh no worries we got a healer. Except she didn't heal me. At all. I was near death and not a single cure, cure ii, or regen came my way. I pretty much heavily depended on my pots and second wind.

We get to the behemoth boss and all I can think is "Well I'm probably going to die since I'm gonna be tanking it and she still doesn't want to heal me". Surprisingly I didn't die even though I got zero heals! The WHM did though which made me laugh. Serves her right for trying to let me die.
