RIP Minion Collectors :(

Well as minion collector I've gotta admit that I like the "fix".

I've placed on top 100 on first season just to get the glamour (ignored Season 2), and I don't really mind if others can get the Season 1 gear doing a specific achievement. After all, we got our own special placement achievements plus accessories plus the special title.

Minions and mounts are something too special to just limit it behind exclusive content. If you think about it, minion collectors are ready to buy anything to get the minion. A plush, a book, a mog digital minion etc... if you break their collection by putting something special and limited as this, they'll start giving up on being minion collectors, therefore lowering the sales of mogstation items, plushes, books, soundtracks etc...

I actually felt some kind of relief when this was going to be limited to the top 10, so I could stop this obsession on getting all the minions and mounts, but now I feel forced to continue! For the true endgame!

Still, I like The Feast. And I think we need more quality players and not just random players, so I think achievements with titles are more important for The Feast, followed with some kind of glamour. It makes more sense!

Imagine if they removed our mount rewards, or told right now, that you can buy them in a cash shop afterwards or get it from some achievement. Everyone would be pissed off and would quit the feast just to show that this is NOT ok. Hopefully SE does NOT make the same mistake twice, and tell us suddenly when the seasons is supposed to thrive, that our rewards have been removed or made less special in some way. This WILL make people quit, you cant back up on your promises like that after they are made. It is the principle idea.

A big important thing (pvp/feast), was sacrificed in the name of something as silly as freaking minions. Whats next, mounts? SE is flushing our pvp community down the toilet with false promises on the stupidest of things.

Edit: You are completely trying to ignore what Im saying in your post above ErryK. You cant make false promises and suddenly take it all back. That is not ok. It DOES hurt the feast, people have quit in the top 100. That is called hurting our community. It is way too small and it needs to grow, this is not the right way, the exact opposite of that. Exclusive rewards are exactly what we need to gain more participants. If the mounts are made avaiable to others too or even removed, It could aswell be the end of daily feast pops. Our community is very small and that makes it fragile. Believe me this is not the way to go.
Edit2: The whole idea was to make feast more alive, and make it grow. They almost failed it with this sudden announcement thing, gladly the mounts are the same as before so feast wont die just yet. But make the mounts less special (or even remove them), and yeah. Who knows what will happen. It is obvious the effect will be severe.

The Feast needs an unranked solo queue. That's what will make The Feast great again.

I have told ingame about this idea and linked to my thread to multiple people and even in my own countrys LS. I would love an unranked 4v4 just cause the mentality of it would be different than ranked (not so much salt n pepper). Believe me I want an unranked 4v4 so new ppl can come and train in peace. And I can also play in peace when Im not having a good feast day. It would also help us grow because of less toxicity, and this is the most important thing.

"You can't make false promises and then suddenly take it all back" You're acting as if the change affects the winners negatively... all it means is people who didn't take part in the Feast need to grind for the minion, instead of doing 100-something matches and then never take part in the Feast again because they've secured their spot. And let me remind you, PvP is an afterthought in this game, let alone the fact that the PvP community is small as is. Limiting the rewards, or rather the resources, to 100-something people is a waste of dev time and resources in the long run. Only those people will have those items instead of the potential 200-500k~ that are subbed and active. Making things exclusive hurts more than it rewards, and this change will only affect about 1k people negatively, as opposed to the minion being grindable, which will affect people positively, and potentially, everyone as this is an item available to everyone if they put the time and effort into it.

This change is positive, stop twisting it into something negative.

Opinion is a opinion its a bad change because it tells pvpers and everyone else that you just have to whine alot to get smth. You may say its bad having exclusive rewards but in a competitive environment it isnt. You cant expect getting a gold medal and prize money just for participating in the sport. Thats why we have tier rewards and you can still collect smth even if u cant get them all lol. We better just dont do savage content right? Its just a small part of the playerbase. Lets just make best gear drop from dungeon cause it benefits the most ppl. Your logic is so wrong lol. Atleast we got exclusive gear and mounts I guess but just a earring for top10 is pretty meh. I hope they dont do this in season 5.

Because a minion and a mount is entirely comparable to Savage gear. Right. Okay.

What would solve this is if PvP rewarded gears that benefit PvP players, at least then there'd be an actual point to trying to do Feast, to actually get an upper hand.

Well I could count now mmorpgs who have a competitive pvp modes with exclusive rewards but to reply you... Feast is still a competitive ranked pvp mode wich should be treated like this genre has nothing to do with it.
