Um, if you got 3 lines, you get FAR better rewards than the lower tier stuff. Also, as said before, WT is a glorified lottery. You're not meant to get the best stuff every time. How wondrous Tails is now they just need to get rid of it. So far got 1 allagan piece worth 10,000 gil for finishing 3 lines. if this is all rewards there giving ones they need to just do away with it. not worth time and effort for 10,000 gil. you get way better rewards from palace of the dead from those sacks.

Wrong doesn't say when you get the book its a lottery. It says that's the rewards you get to pick from when you finish the requirement's and no haven't got one higher tier item for finishing 3 lines. first time got 100 tomestones of poetics this time allagan platinum piece worth 10,000 gil. that's not much of rewards for hours spent waiting in duty finder and time to finish each requirement for the lines. you get way better items from accursed treasure rewards from palace of the dead that's much easer to get. also its pretty easy to get ilvl 255 weapon from palace of the dead.

What you're describing is not the rewards for getting 3 lines. That's the reward for reaching 9 stickers.Wrong doesn't say when you get the book its a lottery. Also unless the PotD sacks provide stuff like i250 crafted with 5 guaranteed meld slots, or 1 million MGP then no, it doesn't give better rewards than WT.
Why does it have to spell it out though? You can easily draw the conclusion yourself when you realize there are 14 spots, but you can only obtain 9 stickers. That you can only shuffle when you have 7/9 or less. By those guidelines it's easy to tell that the content is designed to be luck based and it is "lottery" or more like Bingo in form because the location of the stickers is RNG and since you are only capable of getting 9/14 stickers per book, there is a % chance that you won't get all the rewards.Wrong doesn't say when you get the book its a lottery. Interesting because most players i talked with told me they just get the book to trade in the week after with doing nothing (0 line bonus is enough).Eliminating the RNG aspect would significantly reduce the reward-- to the point no one would bother. People are consistently doing Wondrous Tales right now because the mere chance of three lines is incentive enough to motivate them. If you were guaranteed a reward for just grinding sixteen stickers, it'd be something like 150 Scripture. At which point, why not just do your Roulette?

I like WT.
So far, I have had one and two lines once. The RNG seems fair. If players don't like the RNG aspect, I am not sure how they handle ponies, birds, or any FF14 loot. FF14 is RNGI understand the frustration, I suffer with everyone else. haha
One change I would like to suggest would introduce a gil sink. Maybe pay 1 mil per shuffle after having all nine stickers. I could see players losing millions off of this. If not shuffle, maybe 3-5 million to place any sticker on board after seven stickers already in place. Not sure how this would affect economy, but intriguing nonetheless.
XOXO

Or maybe buy in mogstation a ticket to shuffle for free, lets say pay 5$ for it...I like WT.

Can we please stop the white knights and draw a line they should not cross?!

^
How is a gil sink crossing the line?
Edit - Just a quick note. I am confused. When did optimism toward a new feature, adding a suggestion, turn into mogstation hate. Players baffle me. Seems all the discussions on the forums end this way. LOL :P

I like the idea, OP.
Right now I dont feel motivated to do the sticker book content anymore, too much rng.

This isn't how Wondrous Tails works. The 1st reward is for 9 stickers in any order. Then there is an additional reward for having stickers in a line, up to 3 lines. If you are only receiving a single reward as you described, then you have only obtained 9 stickers but have not completed any lines at all. What makes you think you are completing 3 lines (which is a rare occasion)?Wrong doesn't say when you get the book its a lottery. As for changing the RNG, I disagree. If the rewards only require you to obtain the stickers with no additional layers to the reward process, then the actual rewards themselves will be reduced significantly. They aren't going to hand out i250 crafted gear with 5 materia slots or 1 million MPG to anyone that can just get 16 stickers......
Having an opportunity at better rewards even at the expense of dealing with seem RNG will keep WT more active. Also, the need to Shuffle keeps the New Adventurer bonus more relevant.
