If you look in the pomander menu, bottom bit, it shows which ones are currently active. It is also a bad idea to just burn pomanders for no reason. Not sure where this started, but it doesn't hurt to leave them be.
However, the mentor could've handled it better too...
Alright I'd like an explanation on this. I'm just curious, since I've never done this and I'd like to know what happens for the sake of future PoTD runs
If you're asking what the intuition pomander is, it's an item you can use in PotD that allows the party to see what would essentially be secret treasure. Sometimes people can be lucky and stand in the correct location to make it appear but most often than that you'll just trigger random traps unless you use the pomander of safety (which disables all traps) or the pomander of sight (which lights up the whole map and shows where the traps are on the floor).![]()
Buh I'm a fool. I was asking about why you shouldn't use Pomander of Rage if the knockback debuff is active. I should have mentioned that in my last post.If you're asking what the intuition pomander is, it's an item you can use in PotD that allows the party to see what would essentially be secret treasure. The damage of the rage pomander is in the knockback itself. Without being able to knockback things you just tickle the mobs. So it's kind of pointless to use it when that debuff is active.
I remember learning that the hard way when it was still new. It was 38 or something and we had a couple of rages. I popped one and smacked a monster and nothing happened. Smacked a couple more times before it dawned on us that no knockback was more than just a thing to stop Fluid Aura happy healers. Because honestly I thought that's why it was there.
So what is with the people doing Heavensward stuff with no job stone? Had an ARC in Bismarck. No idea how they did because no one wanted to "carry someone without a job stone."
I just had Amdapor normal. I like to ask the healer if they want the big pulls, they said yes. I did half of the normal big pull, we wiped. Fine, I do smaller pulls of a couple rolms at a time. When we get to the statues that come alive, I pull them into the room with the houndlights and taurus. The healer then goes to the next room and pulls it. We wipe because he "forgot to turn off cleric stance." I know, it happens, but we've already gotten into a groove with our pulls.
