Feedback: The Recent Removal of Exclusive PVP Rewards

If we're talking exclusives that are actually noticeable, why not give feast winners special online status icons that show similarly to a mentor crown? its something pretty noticeable by default. though i know the option exists to hide such things client-side. but it could show up on search info or windows like mentor does, too

Heck, you could have it up in edition to those other exclusive glamours so you dont have to replace anything like you would with a crown or.....earring.

I don't know... is that too lame? not enough for a PvPer to want?

Say all you want PvPers but this wasn't an equal opportunity exclusive like every other in the game's history. No other event in the game has ever had major rewards(minions included I guess) limited to such a certain few. They have only been limited time. Not limited time AND supply.

...That doesn't make any sense.

1) So devs aren't allowed to try anything different anymore because it's hasn't happened in the history of the game before?

2) You're also ignoring contest rewards, which have also been limited by time AND supply but nobody had issue with those because they were accessories that nobody will really notice. But the moment the reward is something of interest to YOU like a minion... OH! Someone think of the children!

And sorry if this all sounds like derailing the thread, but my point is that while it's great and important to listen to our feedback to improve the game a line needs to be drawn when those requests are going too far. If not then ANYONE may take issue with ANY new reward set for Feast seasons if the kind of reward happens to be of interest to them by using the same "limited time AND supply" excuse. Having to find a reward which is interesting for pvp'ers but not for other angry mobs is too much unnecessary work.

I'm not interested in minions at all xD. In fact I never use any minions.

There are 3 things that make contests different.

1. They are almost entirely out-of-game activities not in-game. Making them alot less accessible.

2. The rewards stay the same it seems. That barding or earrings

3. The contest gives everyone a reward in the form of hairstyles or armor.


You can't count things that cost money like the Odin horse because it's an out-of-game item.

We are talking about in-game items being limited supply.

I think it would be rather cool to actually have wolf-themed things, being that it's the Feast/Wolves den after all. So like an actual wolf mount (that scrawny little direwolf doesn't count), a crown made of fangs, weapons that are wolf themed or you can tell by looking at them that they were won in PVP -- like a giant butcher knife for Dark Knight as an example. A statuette of a howling wolf for bronze/silver/gold . Stuff like that.

All of the Season 1 rewards were actually wolf themed.

Earrings are meh in general and not always show-able .-.
my gold earring from last season is so tiny no one can notice it.. inbefore we see thread of earring collectors " SE rethink this decision! we used to be able to obtain all unique earrings in the game "

This whole ridiculous situation just goes to solidify that the Devs can really care less about PvP.

We get a cool reward. People QQ and it's literally removed within a week.

Yet we ask for the same changes to be made to PvP for literally ages and the devs can't even acknowledge they heard us. Lolk

ikr this can't make me even sadder. ppl complain for minion and get some pages of reply and SE act for them. we ask for GC restriction fixing for queue times long time ago with many many many threads and still not fixed.
if PVP mode and pvpers are not that important for SE why not just let the game be PVE mode and not stress themselves with us. i could just move to another game for pvp with actual rewards instead of putting effort here only to get my future seasonal rewards handed freely later on as some type of achievement.
