It would be awesome to see, I thought the WoW statues stopped production a long time ago since it was too expensive and the either had massive flaws or arrived broken. I remember there being issues with staves and thin swords, but the company that produced them was pretty meh on quality control anyways.

I would love to have a statue of my murder ninja maid cat on my desk though. Would be nice to have something tangible like that and maybe something in game to go with it. Seeing as it would be a custom order thing it would be more of a back order log as opposed to the "sorry, sold out lol" we're used to seeing at this point.

I've actually looked into figure designing and construction for this very reason!
But as for the situation of backlogs noted by Alestorm, I doubt that the figures would be custom. I'd bet that they'd design only one costume per job, that being the signature outfit. How many of you would still buy if this were the case? 100% still would.

One site I've bought from before had an issue with a fairly complex figure that the delivery to their shop wasn't even salvagable. What they ended up doing when they had them redone was to make it so the customer had to put some of the pieces together themselves. I don't see this as too big an issue.

It does look like they still make them, at least when I went to find how much those cost.

If I am not mistaken, this is done quite often. For example, the one in the link below is pretty delicate, and assembles at the base and arms.

There was another of these treads about a year ago, actually got a dev response saying if it got enough up votes they would consider/look into it (for what that statement is worth). ait got 87 votes and died into oblivion. If you want this get your friends to upvote it. +1 from me
