That's really sweet, I've been playing this game for over two years but I never felt like "myself", so I always swtiched between races from time to time. I never gave Miqo'te a try because I thought I wouldn't enjoy it and I never knew about the options regarding the race, but at some point I got curious. Around like 8 months ago I decided to try the race and my ex-FC mates told me "Just don't pick the ugly grumpy face". That got me even more curious about it, and when I tried it I finally found my "identity" in this game. The "ugly" face fit like a glove and after that I've been a Miqo'te ever since. I tried to swtich to other races here and there but in the end I always come back to this one, and honestly I can only identify myself with this look regardless of how many times I try something different. It just feels... me. I know it's stupid to get so attached to a virtual character like that, but I see mine as a little twisted fantasy version (silver eyes, hey) of myself IRL and it feels good to finally be comfortable with a toon in this game after years.
Your kind words warms my heart and it means a lot to me when people seem to like my character. Thank you!

There is absolutely nothing wrong with having some kind of sentimental attachment towards your character. I have the same kind of feelings towards Marik, which is why I worked SOOO hard to get Marik to the point he is now. I spent an entire 3 months during 2.0 Beta perfecting Marik's Hyur look so hard, that every time I get an itch to race change, it NEVER lasts long. My longest one was with my Elezen back in 2.1 when I got my first fantasia, but that was only because we did not have more purchasable fantasias at that point. Which that made me a very sad Marik lol. I put a piece of my real life self into Marik, and it just makes my personal gaming experience much more amazing and personal. I feel as if I am part of this world, and that's sorta the point of RPGs and what not! SO yeah go for it! Be happy with your amazing Miqo'te! 'Cause he really is a keeper! (HAHA bad puns.)
