Use the opener you use at the moment and instat of kassatsu = Raito in the opener you use kassatsu to reset cooldown on Ninjutsu to make trick attack.
are you talking about Firana's opener? (Well, i've modify it a little bit to fit my Skill Speed, but here it is more or less... http://ffxivrotations.com/9he
Before you guys tell me that'm doing it wrong or doubling up on oGCD... ATM, i'm at 490 Skill speed, and i could not get the Duality Aeolian Edge inside the trick attack (500+ then it's possible for me at least), it always fell off a second or half a second before my AE lands. So i moved jugulate outside of the trick attack and right after dancing edge is applied.
also, i doubled trick attack and kassatsu oGCD because people done studies ad it showes if you apply Shadow Fang immediately after TA, your Shadow Fang will not get buffed by TA. So the animation lock from Kassatsu is my little buffer safety zone to register my Trick Attack.
Edit: You will need to either refresh Huton or your precast your Huton 15 seconds earlier before the tank pull... Either ways we ninja need 15-20 seconds before we can start our opener

You could also do it like this ---> http://ffxivrotations.com/cfc That works with your SS and you don't have the issue that you don't get the AE into TA.are you talking about Firana's opener? Thanks for the responses. Im still trying to get the hang of ninja. What do you guys do about cooldown management. Do you hold bfb or IE for anything?
Hello, i've been trying to down the A12S Dummy, but it seems i don't get past 5%.
Stats:
- ilvl251
- Crit 894
- Det 661
- SkS 736
I do this:
Th reason i'm not putting the dots between TA is because then i'd lose the Duality Aeolian Edge while TA is still up, i've tried to apply the dots before doing TA but it results in lower burst.
I've seen video of people clearing this dummy but they have 1200 crit (i ignore people who use food and pot buffs because i believe the dummies should be cleared without them and that's what i'm aiming for), 1275 crit in one of the cases to be precise, which is a difference of 107 DEX, i don't know if this is the reason.
The rotation i do after the opener is pretty simple, i prioritize Dancing Edge > Shadow Fang > Mutilate, use armor crush to keep Suiton up if bellow 40s, unless i have Buffs up in which case i use Aeolean Edge instead.
Am i missing something besides the opener possibly not being optimal? If so can someone explain why?
Thanks.![]()
Not using blood for blood?
I havent been able to clear a12s dummy yet. Fail at around 6-10%. Im sure i can help to see where you are going wrong though.
