Actually I was gonna be that guy when posting. But anyway models look fine the way they are. Well at least us I think the lala are still mad about the chest slider not working. But its been 3years and Dev team still hasn't fix that... /sips coffee

But the slider is working :0
It is actually very obvious when not wearing any heavy gear (between 0 and 100 it goes from no chest to flat but definitely existing boobies).
Even underneath light armor you can see the difference o.o
No idea what people are complaining about.
So let me get this straight - you people are continuing to beat this horse in the hopes that maybe with a little more drumming, Yoshi will change what is obviously his stance on over-sexualizing the characters his team developed. If he was going to change this, folks would have heard SOMETHING to that effect BY NOW =\
He is taking into consideration the crop of people who find the sorts of suggestions you other people have asked for to be very obscene and believe with his silence on the matter, that he will do nothing about it.
So I'd like to take this opportunity to make a suggestion to the team IF this is something they're considering - Refine the ignore list, allow the ignore list to be an endless text file that is built on our computers that retains the functionality it currently has and adds "hide player character models" - Other games have done this, and I believe with the work the game engine is currently undergoing with the expansion, this is a possibility.
I'm speaking up for the group of people who do not know what is being suggested here and telling the development team that this WILL drive this particular group from the game - Just like it did with Star Wars - Tera - and every other game that over sexualized the characters in their games, go have a look at how well those companies are doing now since they decided that sex sells...
The only way to have something changed is to stay voiced about it. Just dont stop voicing your desires, I wont. Also if people would whine about slightly better looking bodies.. Then well.. Im confused, But yes i like your idea of toggles.
Like I said - if they're going to change it, they would have mentioned something..
If it's something they were thinking about changing for 4.0, could be that they're waiting to announce it at another Fan Fest. From what I've gathered, a lot of the big announcements tend to be made at the Japan Fan Fest. If they follow what they did last year.

Also - there are people who're perfectly fine with the way the bodies look - In fact they recognize the bodies being similar to the bodies from FFXI and believe that to be a good thing - it seems the only people who care about the bodies are the very same people who're pushing "package" sliders
Pretty well, comparatively speaking. Obviously WoW and FFXIV top the usual most-played lists for MMOs but they're followed closely by Guild Wars 2, TERA, Blade and Soul, and Black Desert Online, all of which tend more towards the "over-sexualized" spectrum. It's not a question of "does sex sell?" It's "how well does sex sell?"
FFXIV is one of the more conservative MMOs I've played in recent memory. Most of the armor sets don't change across genders (even I find the female DRG tummy window to be laughable) and I'd say a good 80% of the outfits in this game are not sexualized in the least. So I hardly see an issue with giving the character models a bit more volume and shape.

En Masse is closing their doors and are down to a Maintenance mode crew keeping Tera alive long enough to pay their bills and SWTOR is consistently having to offer free transfers to people stuck on dead servers - SWTOR is dying, there are maybe 5 servers that enjoy a medium population with a player base of MAYBE 50k people..
