Shortage of Airship Only Mats

I more curious what this so called "expensive" airship material is? i cant recall anything expensive from there at the moment besides grade V materias.

I have a friend who has 3 accounts so that he can run his own FC. Thats how you have one to yourself. Its not easy but its not impossible as you claim. If you are so for not being selfish then why complain in the first place? You are playing an MMO that is meant to be played with other people. You act like you have ZERO access to producing these items, but it literally can't be any farther from the truth. Also I was in no way rude, I was not insulting in any way and simply pointed out the flaw in your argument. Yes, I understand needing others but it's not as simple as "hey, can I borrow you for an hour"? You need them to leave their current FC, create one with you & then go back to their own, hoping that their FC is okay with it. A lot aren't. This is nothing like doing a primal, when was the last time you had to leave your FC to to that?

Secondly, if a plot on Leviathan comes up for sale it is gone straight away. PLUS, why should I have two houses, effectively to myself, & deprive others of one? You're obviously selfish if that's okay with you.

You actually can create alt accounts to be on at the same time as you, but that's not even required for the creation of airships. You can buy airship parts on the MB.

I didn't put anywords into your mouth, just uncovered what you said.

Everyone in this thread just wants one thing: Accesibility outside airships to an airship exclusive item. And that can't be, because airship exclusive items is what makes airships content worth the time and rewarding for those who took the endeavour of building those airships. Might aswell be asking to be given top raiding gear in leveling dungeons. And in this case, since FC don't have any kind of content, the airship construction is one of the few timeworth activities given by the game itself, that are worth of taking, exactly because you have a reward, a exclusive reward, at the end of it.

Word it as you want, if you have a rational discussion, prove how is taking the exclusivity of the only FC exclusive content given by the game, a good idea.

This whole thing is just a bunch of people who can't be bothered to play with others in an MMORPG and work together towards a goal and need to have the only thing exclusive to FCs, handed to them.

Cactuar isnt dying, of course is not an overpopulated trash server like gilgamesh or balmung, which makes it 1000% better. Again, your server is trash and 200k is nothing.

You only need others to create the FC, anything past that, like crafting airship parts, you don't need the other 3 people to be in your FC, they just have to be present in the company workshop to finish the project (so only for a couple minutes), and note making airship parts is not something you do frequently, once you get a proper setup at 50 you wont be changing parts ever again unless you want a different build.

Did make a suggestion a while ago of having airship mats being added to diadem as the mats become old as a trade in with spoils. Would help a lot for those that cant do airships or are just unlucky with mats while making diadem a bit more meaningful and also keeping the newest mats extremely rare for a time. Think there was word of a new diadem update with some new spoils sometime 3.5 so would be best if such was added then since it would new currency/token to start with.

I think, in the very least. That Square needs to rotate the older Airship only mats into non-airship content. Similar to how POTD now includes once very hard to get glamours, I hope that the new Diadem, or something else, gives access to airship only mats. As is now, making the pool of airship only mats larger is a bad idea, keeping it roughly the same seems a fair compromise.
