Shortage of Airship Only Mats

Remove those airship exclusive materials and what are airships good for then?

Airship Ventures need exclusive rewards, they take effort, gil and time to build and set up. And yes, i understand there is no aviable housing anymore for airships and all of that, but that is what give these materials value too, its a good incentive to keep the airship exploration in place as a nice bonus for those who have a house. And if, ever, airships are allowed in lower scale for non-house owners, then honestly, they will have to put even better rewards for the airships as parts level up and they travel further.

Ultimately, if there is a shortage of airship materials, first, your server sucks, second, you don't have gil to get them, and if you have problems making a minimal ammount of gil in this game as saying, to buy airship materials to progress in the relic weapon quest, then you have plenty of alternatives, that method was implemented for people who could afford it. You don't have gil? Work like everyone else and get some.

First, I play on the second highest pop server on NA, second, I have all crafter and gather to 60 with all the scrip book unlocked and own a personal house. Do i feel right playing over 200k for each mats or tear down my house and convert it to a fc house? No cause those mats should been accesible to more ppl and not for the few FC leader that own a FC house to line their pocket with gil.

Maybe the devs should add some to Diadem as timed nodes. That area need more love.

They ARE impossible to do solo because you need the other players

Go figure, in a massively multi-player online game you need other people to obtain some stuff.

If I want a miniature Sophia I can't go and solo Sophia, I have to find 7 other people and farm it, or buy the materials from other people, or buy the crafted item from other people, and even have to hire another crafter specialist to make it for me if I don't have that specialist.

Talk to your FC leader and tell them you need those mats, if they refuse just go on and start your own FC, or buy the item from the market like you would if it was from a primal or a raid.

POSSIBLE. You can have random people help you form it, and then remove them.

buy a house on a full server (impossible)

POSSIBLE. Housing demolition has been re-enabled. Look for free lots. I have a friend who has seen 2 in the past 3 days on Balmung.

build an airship alone (impossible)

POSSIBLE. If you are truly an antisocial you can always invest in some alt accounts to help you do everything solo

People do NOT have equal access to this content. Even if you are in a FC there is no guarantee whatsoever that you will be allowed access to the rewards from airships. The only way is to buy them & if you need something slightly more unusual then expect to be paying through the nose.

People DO have equal access to this content. Nothing is stoping you from finding or creating and FC that will let you use the airships. If you want to play by yourself go play a console game.

I'm going to hazard a guess and assume that the people insisting that the current model is fine are those who currently stand to make a profit of of the system despite it not delivering what was originally intended in terms of 'fun, enjoyable airship based content'. It's like having a discussion with someone running a bank and expecting them to be without bias when discussing loopholes that benefit them but aren't readily available to the average person.

Diadem wasn't well received because it was seen as clunky and unrewarding. It was, after all, an experiment - one that is being improved upon. The same can be said of airship ventures which - again - have potential to be so much more.

Again, craft and get gil and stop crying about measly 200k.

whaa whaa, bad FC gangster got all materials and i have none, whaa whaa Get real, those materials are fine as they are, FC are cooperative groups and they need cooperative goals, the last thing we need is to take yet even more from them since they basically have nothing aside airships going for them. The reward of being part of a FC, and of working for one, and working in one, and handling one, and making it grow and to create and send airships out is those materials, and they should stay like that, and they should add even more in the future. Those who participate in making the cake, get a slice of it, real simple. Yes, there is sucky FCs, yes there are 1 man FCs with 4 airships to feed 1 guy MB, but thats not the norm, unless again, your server sucks.

The materials are rare enough to make the cost, time and effort of being able to build and send airships out worthwhile. You want them cheaper, join a FC, create one, buy a house, demolish and make a FC house, as you said, if you want them that badly, you have to work for them as everyone has done. What a surprising thing, people being rewarded by their hardwork, and yes, this is hardwork, there is no RNG or anything here, is not just time put into this, if you want airships, you need to work your ass off. And you want them to take that only reward? Ridiculous.

Bad people who made efforts is bad, they worked for their things and they are bad, unlike me, that i want everything given out for free.

Yes, I understand needing others but it's not as simple as "hey, can I borrow you for an hour"? You need them to leave their current FC, create one with you & then go back to their own, hoping that their FC is okay with it. A lot aren't. This is nothing like doing a primal, when was the last time you had to leave your FC to to that?

You are not only wrong but incredibly rude. For a start, you can't create alts to be on the same time as you, which is required for everything you propose. Secondly, if a plot on Leviathan comes up for sale it is gone straight away. PLUS, why should I have two houses, effectively to myself, & deprive others of one? You're obviously selfish if that's okay with you.
