Honestly it not only your problem. In my Freecomany, there are already 3 players restart their game with a new account (which not an EU account) and new character because the i2501 error. Before that, they had try to communicate with the support team. And the EU support team required their information and VPN info, finally they received a mail from the support team said that because they are not in EU region they can not help more and suggest them to play in China server. Which made me feel really angry, and my friends all feel upset. Not only them, there are 2 players which start play ff14 in 2013 just like you, meet the same problem too. And they are afraid to communicate with the support team because these players who already tried but get the bad result.
