Prudence at this Junction MSQ Quest

The level 8 MSQ quest, "Prudence at this Junction" at Black Brush Station (Central Thanalan, Ul'dah) offered by Warin doesn't appear to be working properly.

The quest text says that you have to equip your hands, body, legs and feet with equipment that is level 5 or above. However, as long as they're equipped with anything of any level the NPC accepts this and you complete the quest.

To reproduce simply turn in the quest with gear < lvl 5 (i.e. lvl 1 starter gear). I think the similar MSQ quest in Gridania functions the same way. Anyway, this may be working as intended, in which case it isn't so much a bug as kind of confusing quest text (it should say "or" instead of "and").

Do note that the clothes you start with was changed at some point to be ilvl 5 gear. This makes them qualify for this quest - while making the quest kind of pointless.

Yup, I know but that is what actually made me notice this. If you do all MSQ quests and side quests up to this one then you will have a combination of lvl 5 and 8 gear in the required slots except for legs. You'll still have lvl 1 legs from the start. Legs gets filled in a quest or two after if I remember. So you're going up there with lvl 5 all, except legs and it accepts it. So I then re-equipped all of my lvl 1 items and it still accepts it.

Agree that the quest is kind of pointless, but it should either be fixed to match the quest text, or the text modified (i.e. swap and for or) to match the way it functions.

That's the thing: The legs, as well as all the other pieces of the starting racial gear is item level 5 now, so you don't have to get any new gear to complete that quest.
