OMG...

Love Realm Reborn more than any other game/MMO. I used to play about a year and a half ago. Somewhere in the ballpark of 3-6 months before Heavensward released; loved every bit of it... but due to financial difficulties at the time, couldn't keep subbing, and shelved the game.

Now the missus & I just came back a few days ago to the game. We got Heavensward, Deluxe Upgrade on both Realm Reborn & Heavensward, each bought a 2-seater Fat-Moogle mount, and some other stuff.

For starters, my CC wouldn't be accepted for sub, even though missus' was, and we both go through the same bank, and we both bought the same stuff and both subbed at the same time. I was able to buy everything with the CC, just not sub... error 601 or whatever it was. So ended up having to buy game-time cards and pay $11 or so more for 6 months of play time... and ironically, from the Square-Enix store, where even more ironically, my CC worked fine for game-time cards. *facedesk*

First Square was saying it was my bank blocking the card, but when I spoke to the bank, they said there was no block or issue, even confirmed that charges through Square Enix are fine. When I talked to support again, they said I attempted to use a card too many times and my account was now card-blocked (credit/debit) for five days and would have to use time-cards!

And now, this. I work nights, I'm on the west-coast... right now is my PRIME TIME for playing. I usually start heading off to bed around 2pm-3pm... which is when the maintenance is "scheduled" to be over. The past couple days before this, I was able to putz around for an hour or so at a time... and planned to really dig in today.

So yeah... really love the game, but what happened!? Back when we used to play, servers seemed flawless, never seemed to be any issues, and everything was stellar... what gives!?!?!?

This needs sorting now. It cannot be happening once a week, twice a week never mind one every month.

Please have proper look as to what is it that is causing this problem because this is becoming a habit.

Your first mistake was trying to work through SE Support. Pantyhose with runs in them offer more support then Se does. Best advise is use Crysta, if available, for payment. I have never had an issue with that method.

Why does this seem to be a common issue with Primal though? Often times I will see repeat posts of people fussing over primal going down or it having some sort of issue that must needs be sorted out, but I hardly see that for the EU or Japanese Datacenters.
