[REQUEST] Please let us do POTD Floors 100+ Solo or Matched Group

Well sure if you just absolutely want to slam it all at once to beat some imaginary time limit.

Its not like the Feast where prizes have a timetable. Run 10-20 floors a run. Set a few days to do it a week.

If you are not in it for prizes, and don't think it challenging then don't stress. I swear you kids put all this preasure on yourselves to get it done asap. Do like Nestama said, make a pf, and just go at a sane pace. You all need to relax a bit, its not that seruous.

Can I get the exact same 3 people to be on at the exact same time as I am and expect them to have X hours to spend with me clearing the floors at that moment at the class they were when they started? It's just a bit too stringent of a requirement. I have no problem with the difficulty of it.

However, why also punish small parties? They intended the place as a challenge so let people challenge it with the party type they want. I usually duo PotD with my OH and knowing that we can't continue after 100 is a bit upsetting.

You can continue to 101+. You can go in with as few members as you want. You just need to meet the requirements. A duo is a fixed party.

this is the same for any static, except with 7 other people. I think: yes, you can get those people if you all decided you wanted to be "mini-static" or a "static Jr". You would just discuss your times of availability and make a schedule, just like any raid group.

Having cleared through floor 150, I can see why there's no matchmaking. The higher you go, the more dangerous each individual room becomes. If you have no sight or safety pomanders, every room becomes a threat. My friends and I started to skip rooms and complete sections of the map because the way was open and we felt the risks weren't worth the possible reward, and we were facing time constraints because we only have 3 people. Upper floors require coordination and cooperation that you just don't usually get from PUG groups. If matchmaking were a thing, I feel that many people would be calling for it to be taken away because one person might want to full clear every floor while another might just want to move on when it's available.

So is Party Finder no longer a thing? Just set the three party slots to [?] and see what kind of Light Party you get.

That would be horrible actually. At most it'd be nice to change classes between floors, but part of the challenge is going through it with one team comp.

Also want to point out what I said earlier: it is IMPERATIVE that you keep your pomanders between floors so you have the ones you need for difficult parts. That is simply not possible for them to code if you are changing party members.

I believe this is why they require the start at floor 51 to make sure you can get along with a group long enough to put up with each other when things get rough. The grind through "Gate" as people are now calling it gives a chance to gather these pomanders needed for the end floors as well as test your party cooperation and composition. I honestly think they did it right with the setup, they require thought and cooperation to do the savage potd just like any savage raid.

Yeah I understand they want the last floors to be something of a challenge, but the real challenge in finishing the last 100 floors isn't the difficulty of the floors, its finding 3 other like minded people who have the willingness to grind the content without getting ko'd who also have a significant amount of time on their hands to dedicate to casual content like potd...oh yeah and now laughably if you can even find these people AND the servers remain stable so you can actually finish it.

I want to get in without the hassle of begging static friends to dedicate large amounts of time to the casual content that is potd. Let us go in the last floors with matched parties, please.

Not sure why people refer to something like this as 'casual content'.

It actually takes more time than savage at this point unless you do it in one go. This is the opposite of casual.

I think there needs to be matchmaking for 101+ cause like others said some people don't have 4+ hours to sit down and do this right in a row. The way it works now is you have to put up a PF and say have 4-5 hours available and its really hard to get anyone to commit that much time at once.

There is already matchmaking for harder content like EX primals and Alex savage available if people want it so I don't see why there wouldn't be matchmaking for this. I was really looking forward to doing floor 100+ but now I can't really because I don't know 3 other people that want to do it.
