    Nah... People have only ever been supportive of me when I say I'm still new at Healing/DPSing. In 100+ runs, I've only been asked to focus on Healing one time (I didn't listen, I just scaled back because they were under-geared) and usually get 2-3 comms. Everyone I've ever met has been very supportive of Healer DPS outside of a small group of players in the Healer sub-forums who refuse to believe that Healer doesn't mean HEALZ only.

    If Healers can't use Cleric Stance during party instances, then Tanks should be forced to be stuck in Tank Stance (even if they aren't the MT), Bards in a song (whenever they have MP), Monks in Fist of the Earth, and Ninjas in Kiss of the Wasp. >>

    Um what? the tank stance part would be a reasonable comparison, but the bard, monk, and ninja parts have me scratching my head as to how you drew the comparison...

    I think I see what they are saying, but they worded it a little weird.

    By removing CS from party content you are, in effect, removing the option of dealing damage from healer's. You could say they can still use their dps abilities without CS, but the damage is basically negligible.

    So by removing the ability to deal damage, healers are forced to pretty much just heal and nothing else. Well, why does MNK of Mantra? That's useless because they're damage dealers and Mantra does 0 damage. Remove that since it shouldn't be something they should be able to use. While we'e at it remove Fracture from WAR. Fracture doesn't help them tank so it's pointless.

    I'm obviously being hyperbolic, but limiting healer's to one pigeonholed role would be, plainly, unfair.

    Ironically, Fracture is only actually useful for monk. It's a DPS loss for pretty much everyone else except Warrior's in very rare and super specific instances. It would be nice to get rid of it and get something else in it's place, but then mnk would lose a sizeable chunk of their own DPS.

    A bit! Unlike pretty much every other dps ability, Fracture both does less dps and generates less threat than everything in War's arsenal.

    Yes you can still dps, but just not as much.

    Right now, I feel like in cleric stance, I can dps more than the casual dps, which means I am fulfilling two roles, healer AND dps. Which is not the intention, I believe.

    So should SE disable cleric stance in party instances?

    This is only in the standpoint of game design, and not numbers, or completing instances faster etc.
