I hate to break it to you, but relic weapons are not, and never have been, intended for casual players, and not once have the devs claimed that they were intended to be. The grinds involved are far more than anyone who calls themselves casual can consider doing, and I don't think that's likely to change.
No, the casual endgame weapons in this game are, and always have been, the Tomestone weapons. The two other endgame weapons, relic and raid, are both intended for non-casual players - just by different flavors of non-casual.

Considering the relic won't be on the same item level as the raid weapons and the tomestone weapon's upgrade is locked behind raid until catch up patch, I'd say it is the casual weapon. Anyone who does raiding or can do the EX primals has no real reason to do relic other than it's shiny and story. The weapons do have story and lore behind it. Or glamour, because we all know glamour is the true end game.


Grind is the easy part in any MMO. The hard part is requiring 8 people to consistently do things to get anything done for periods of time. Let's face it, the tomestone weapon still requires 8 people if only for the gears.The relic, by majority, doesn't need that.

So this 240 to 260 upgrade quest requires 50 Singing Clusters. Ways to obtain Singing Clusters:

- 1 SC a day on a Daily Expert Roulette
- 10 SC weekly on a Daily Levelling Roulette
- 1 SC per 150 Lore Tomes.

So if you do this diligently you can easily finish the 260 step in 2 weeks. Thank you SE.

You customize the stats during the i240 step.

The stats are based on whatever you chose to customize for 240. They'll scale off those.

Which for DRG would be 133 CRIT, 126 DET, 7 SKS

yes, 2 weeks is for sane and normal people. i have 27 now too but that's because of the 10 from the weekly and the 2k Lore i had stocked up. i have no intention of grinding another 3500 lore in a single day or even a week. i'll probably finish next Tue/Wed just doing roulettes and Lore from Deep Dungeon and Savage.
