Let us speculate on when the servers will be back online

I think a lot of you are not realising that some of it is out of SE's hand, even if it they could get the power, the ISP supplier might have been ordered to reduce non emergency bandwidth, especially in a crisis when everyone is trying to use phones to contact families or going on internet to find out whats happened, Sony shipped out like 30'000 radios for broadcast information.

Then there is also the transport issues and the blackouts, plus if a blackout spontaneously occurred during the server running it could corrupt data. Also SE just fall under a blanket of businesses with high constant energy sources so it will of been an order for all companies under that category to reduce power. Also servers do cost a lot to run.

Its also not just "a room full of computers", they probably have shut down many internal servers, there is also air conditioning that needs to be turned off, XI servers, Zero servers, plenty of other servers.

It all mounts up XD and speculation for me changes depending on the current condition, if I'll be honest this is one of the times i wish US did what it does best, get its nose stuck into other countries business XD
