You can't "correct" someone elses opinion. Doesn't work like that. You basically just told them they are a reckless spender and a whale who somehow ruins everything for everyone else. I don't even recall when that poster said they buy everything the cash shop offers (or if they have bought anything at all even)....so why are they a reckless spender and a whale all of a sudden?

Anger might not factor into it but you are still misplacing emotions at the players (who might not have been part of the people who asked for a cash shop) instead of at the company who made the service that you dislike so much. Like you said SE likely won't remove the cash shop...so why should you shame people for buying from it? If they want something and can afford it then who are you to say they are selfish for spending their personal earned money on it? Even if some people stop buying from it the cash shop will still be there (because there is always going to be players who have a lot of extra money to spend because they are well off irl)...people will just be denying themselves something they want for no reason since it changes nothing.

Some people on this planet may think you spending money on a video game subscription is reckless spending and shame-worthy, but hey it is your choice because it is your money right? Once again, it's easy money for SE for cosmetics, easily forgettable items, it's here to stay. i am well aware people will toss money at anything that does not require any work, so it will always be popular, SE would be brain dead to get rid of something like that. i dislike the cash shop but i actually want them to keep it, the more money that floods in, the better they work on this game, hopefully, I just won't waste any money on it, other then things that actually deserve to be there, like server transfers or fantasia.

I was against the cash shop when it was suggested just fyi since this game is already a sub game. I am not going to shame people for using it though. They choose to spend money they earned on it so that is their choice and it has nothing to do with me. All those items are optional aesthetics which you do not need to play the game and hopefully, like you also said, that money is going into the game for expansions and content.

Once again, like that poster, you are taking what i said and twisting it, read it again. it's a cause and effect thing, because SE knows people will spend money for items instead of putting them in game, other people will have to suffer by buying it, as SE sees no reason to put them in the the game when people can just throw money at them for it.

People buy gill because they are lazy, (or really bad at the game and can't make their own) why work for the gill when you can just give real money to get as much as you want.

Cash shop has items that you can give real money to get instantly no work needed. Why put items in the game when you can just toss money to get them instantly?

Gill is not needed to progress in this game, and for the most part is mainly used for vanity and cosmetics,

RMT spend money on accounts to spam bots nonestop. unless they can do that for free, all the money is going to SE Regardless if they are using their on CC/debit or a stolen one, it's still money going to SE so in a small way they are actually benefiting from it. They both profit. again, if you think you would have figured that out.

See? this is how i know you didn't read, as i said, multiple times that i do not care what you spend your money on, i'm allowed to laugh at people who toss money at things. if i see someone buy a t-shirt for $2000 because it has a small logo in the corner while i got the same one for $45 without the logo, you better belive i will have a good laugh, and tell them "nice shirt buddy" with a cool thumbs up.

I guess so, This is the reason why the bottled water industry is booming, even tho its just tap water from a different source, and anti-aging cream is just an expensive moisturizer, even tho it does the exact same thing. some people may consider those a waste of money while others consider them the greatest buys. it is all in the buyer, i agree.

Um, at the end of this post you openly admit to mocking the players who use it ^ so no I am not putting words in your mouth; they were already there. I am not mistaking anything. Shame is a result of mocking if the mocking succeeds in upsetting the individual (you learn these things if you take psychology classes). Which is why I responded to you to tell you not to be rude about it and not to place the blame on people you don't even know anything about.

Everyone makes fun of others sometimes it is just human nature, but the main thing is you are supposed to keep things like that to yourself out of respect. I mean you don't wanna be walking down the street and have someone laugh and point at you cause you bought a specific brand name item that they personally think is ugly/stupid/unnecessary, right?
