Yeah no. That's not how you get people to play a piece of content. So either it's not supposed to, or someone at SE is being silly.

People who like pvp will do it, regardless, so this is somewhat right, a mount that is yet another reskin of an already existing mount, and moves the same speed as all the others for a crap content certainly won't get me caring about it. so yea, good luck whoever goes for it.

But unlike pvp, savage does require actual skilled players to progress, so it's not for everyone, while any old joe can pvp.

People started leveling and queuing as tanks only to get the tank mount/s. You can bet your a** that quite a lot of the same type of players will start PvP'ing as long as the mount isn't locked behind rating, which it probably won't be. Also, Feast is actually pretty fun - the matchmaking and rating system is crap though.

Its going to be a Season 3 Top players reward, its not going to just drop randomly like Fenrir Pup. It's going to be locked behind rating.

My wording might have been poorly but what I meant to say is that the mount won't be locked behind a certain rating, which is something they haven't done thus far and probably won't be doing in the future. So yeah, it's definitely going to be a Top X reward; probably 100 if they're following the trend of handing out the coolest reward/s for that bracket - unless they decided to give something more worthwhile to top 10 players and first place, aside from fancy titles.

Well yes, but that doesn't exactly make it better. Top 100 means top 100 - the higher the competition, the higher the minimum rating. Looking at the ladders right now, I'm inclined to say there wouldn't be much of a difference between locking it behind top 100 or locking it behind a rating of 900/gold. If more people were to actually play...I wager that goes up to 1000 and more.

Im curious, the reward in season 2 is a tiny bit different from season 1, does that mean season 4 mount be slightly different too or the same? This can potentially be two mounts to collect for collectors missing out?
