Switching Servers to EU to solve 2002?

I keep getting 2002 every time I try to connect to the NA servers. If I payed the 18$ to switch my NA character to one of the EU servers as a last resort would that fix anything since they don't seem to be affected? I've been thinking of doing this for a while since most of my friends are over there but would that screw up my character?

or you could use a vpn like wtfast, mudfish or pingzapper and it will let you in that is what I'm doing I am using mudfish and I can get in the game unless you are on a console then that is a different story.

if you have a mobile phone on your wifi you can add a vpn service on your mobile phone then connect your ps4 to your mobile phone wirelessly and utilize the vpn from your phone.
