Sounds like we'll never be getting that KH3 event then.

I'm not sure how key blades would work in FFXIV given that we have staves, daggers, axes, lances and so on but if we could get Dearly Beloved as an orchestrion track during the event, I'd do a 180 on my opinion and be all for it.

Isn't coming anytime soon, and keyblades don't fit in FFXIV world.

As if FFXIV has an identity to begin with. FFXIII and Yokai weapons don’t "fit" the world yet here we are. I would rather get Auron outfit, that alone is all I will ever care about.

I love how the naysayers are acting as if this would completely wreck the game. Seasonal events are optional. Keyblades would be cosmetic, which makes the argument that they don't fit in the world rather moot. Power Rangers don't fit, but they spun it in a believable way. Plus, they're not supposed to be taken super seriously. They're just fun, optional side quests for items. What's the big deal, really?

We dont even need keyblades (even though, I realy want it), just make the reward a Sora/Ventus outfit for males and Kairi/Aqua outfit and hairstyle for females. They could also add minions as reward, maybe a Sora wielding a keyblade minion?

After Yokai, everything can be added in this game, the whole does not fit or breaks immersion is pointless now, Yoshi-P and SE did not care about it in the past, what makes you think they will care about it now?

Could work, although some of the Organisation XIII weapons look terrible imo so I'll throw in some of the side weapons from the standalone game (and weapons from the series in general):

Tried to stay away from the silly looking weapons, but it's difficult with KH.
