I doubt region based outfits would ever be put in game without purchase. Yes the moogle mount and Sleipner could have been ingame rewards sure that was their foul.

We requested a few outfits be considered for bring over you and you are acting like it will destroy ffxiv as we know it. I work hard for my money and if I have extra I buy a fun item. I hardly think me saying "oh look angel barding id like that." warrants being called a whale. Yeesh.

There's nothing wrong with the point. I feel like people are just scared of other options other then -grind-. But this will never end because on one side you have people with the funds to buy whatever they want. And on the other side you have people who can or can't do the same but don't. So oh well. But what people don't understand is, your reckless spending on items that should otherwise be in the game just because "you want it" prevents future content from being reasonably available, because SE is pretty much (why make it obtainable? when people will throw money at us, they have clearly shown they will do it) but for this particular subject, china is getting something exclusive to them, and what happens? (nooo i want it, take all my money, gimmi!

Blaming the players who use cash shop sometimes is pointless. SE was the one who decided to add it so if you want to be angry about it don't place the anger towards someone who doesn't deserve it at all. All they are doing is using a service that SE made available to them which had an item they felt was worth the money to purchase for themselves. They made the choice to spend their money on it just as you made a choice to not buy anything from the cash shop. Your choice is not somehow superior or more important than another players.

If you want to get SE to change their services make a post/petition to remove the cash shop then. It is your choice to voice your opinion on it so do it and try to make a change instead of blaming people for just using the service that is already there and established.

I don't even recall when that poster said they buy everything the cash shop offers (or if they have bought anything at all even)....so why are they a reckless spender and a whale all of a sudden?

Anger might not factor into it but you are still misplacing emotions at the players (who might not have been part of the people who asked for a cash shop) instead of at the company who made the service that you dislike so much. How is buying cash shop things the same as gil buying? One is against the ToS and one is made by the company who made the ToS...there is no connection. Like you said SE likely won't remove the cash shop...so why should you shame people for buying from it? If they want something and can afford it then who are you to say they are selfish for spending their personal earned money on it? Even if some people stop buying from it the cash shop will still be there (because there is always going to be players who have a lot of extra money to spend because they are well off irl)...people will just be denying themselves something they want for no reason since it changes nothing.

I was against the cash shop when it was suggested just fyi since this game is already a sub game. I am not going to shame people for using it though. They choose to spend money they earned on it so that is their choice and it has nothing to do with me. All those items are optional aesthetics which you do not need to play the game and hopefully, like you also said, that money is going into the game for expansions and content.

Once again, like that poster, you are taking what i said and twisting it, read it again. it's a cause and effect thing, because SE knows people will spend money for items instead of putting them in game, other people will have to suffer by buying it, as SE sees no reason to put them in the the game when people can just throw money at them for it.

People buy gill because they are lazy, (or really bad at the game and can't make their own) why work for the gill when you can just give real money to get as much as you want.

Cash shop has items that you can give real money to get instantly no work needed. Why put items in the game when you can just toss money to get them instantly?

Gill is not needed to progress in this game, and for the most part is mainly used for vanity and cosmetics,

RMT spend money on accounts to spam bots nonestop. unless they can do that for free, all the money is going to SE Regardless if they are using their on CC/debit or a stolen one, it's still money going to SE so in a small way they are actually benefiting from it. They both profit. again, if you think you would have figured that out.

See? this is how i know you didn't read, as i said, multiple times that i do not care what you spend your money on, i'm allowed to laugh at people who toss money at things. if i see someone buy a t-shirt for $2000 because it has a small logo in the corner while i got the same one for $45 without the logo, you better belive i will have a good laugh, and tell them "nice shirt buddy" with a cool thumbs up.
