I can just imagine: My poor character trying to sleep in his apartment, but he can't because every single one of his neighbors are blasting their new Simple and Clean Orch. Roll. Then, exhausted from lack of sleep he goes to Limsa, where he is accosted by scores of keyblades. Keyblades everywhere.

This goes on for weeks until finally, at his wits end, he climbs to top of the Mizzenmast and jumps into the harbor.

I know someone in an earlier thread mentioned about it and how the weapons would make a good reward. Though after Yokai event I would be afraid at what would be entailed to receive them. Will admit a fair amount of them would transition well I think, with some maybe needing a slight alteration to suit some classes.

Sure, why not? It's not like FFXIV cross-over events follow/respect the worlds lore any more (what even was the lore behind the Yokai Watch event? I didn't do it because spamming FATE's is not my idea of fun).

Enough with the darn crossovers already. Can't FF14 carve its own identity for once? We already got enough "REMEMBER THIS?!" with every single past FF nod.

Who is this "we" you speak of? Because you are not the majority nor does everyone agree with you. I think if it where to be done, do it around KH3 release to build more hype and celebration of a proper new game in the series.

You aren't the majority as well and people do not agree with more crossovers either.
That said, I find it sad how you worded FFXIV as some means of promotion for other games.

I'm not a fan of crossovers myself but I don't mind them. It still bothers me that FFXIV's world has been the most unoriginal out of every mainline FF game.

I probably wouldn't want that crossover out of unusual concern a healer in Donald outfit won't use a single Cure on me.

As long as they keep the Disney characters out of the game it would be ok... Otherwise I might have to quit - particularly if it were costumes that would keep showing up in glamors (otherwise I could just not play during the event)
Tried to play KH and the game play was cool but the Disney characters not so much - couldn't do it.

I just can't stomach too much Disney.
