Going to post my answer under the spoiler to not disrupt the flow of the thread too much.
I agree that too many threads about one topic is not that nice but at the same time this was not created as a thread for dancer but against even arguing about it. (Which could have been posted in all the other threads too so the OP kinda helps keeping the discussion going and at the same time attacking other peoples opinion by wanting them to stop discussing) I would love to have one thread per topic with everything in one place but sadly after lurking here for quite a few time and posting here too its just impossible. But you did not really answered someone by posting that this joke of a thread should stop. (And as soon as people reactivate an old thread instead of creating a new one, they will get "omg necro")
If people want to discuss this topic and enough other people answer to it than maybe more than handful people are interested in discussing the possibilities of her being a dancer/monk instead of talking about the job itself. I am quite sure that as soon as the class would be announced people would go and try to think about how dancers could be implemented and how they wish to have their dancers. But since nobody knows this yet a lot of people seems to be content with this kind of topic. Maybe people dont want her to be a dancer because of her being a lot like a monk (but still kinda different) and maybe this teaser was just one big hint and the woman will be a complete different class or even just have traits from different kind of classes like other NPCs and the real dancer will come later. Nobody knows but taking a trailer and picking it apart is a lot of fun and if its truly a dancer and it plays a lot like a monk, maybe there will be disappointment or maybe people will like to play it like that since being similar does not mean that its the same.
About me: No thats not right. ^^ I dont care which side wins at the end because both possibilities are alright for me so I am not going around attacking others for believing anyway. But I love to read such a discussion to see the points for and against each case, look how it will turn out and maybe even making my own assumptions based on the "evidence" that both sides gather. Most of the time in this thread I was just lurking and I posted like two or three times. One was my opinion on that matter (like how the crowd reacted and other things) which was on topic and the other one that I remember was the one to you, which was at least somehow still kinda on topic. Yet there are a lot of posts from people like Annah that bring zero points to the discussion ("why is it still ongoing") and that at the same time will keep the thread even longer alive.
So maybe just let people write down their points even if its going in a circle. As long as people are nice to each other this should not be a problem and not really of concern to anyone else. (Why for example do people still check out this thread if they dont care/want this discussion? And then post one liners about how long it got, while ironically creating more pages with that) Its not like the forum has limited number of pages and by arguing in this thread another thread could not be made.
And if someone just saw this thread, read the OP and some other posts and wanted to post their own opinion on it, why shouldnt they do that? Maybe they have a spin on the argument, maybe they just say what others already said (but with that showing some support) and some just love to argue back and forth..but as long as its civil why exactly should they stop?

Right know even without any knowledge about dancer and not hyping it up or something, I still tend to lean more onto the side of her being a hint towards dancer or a NPC herself that uses both moves. But my world would not break down or I would not hate SE if she was just another monk (This is more along the "I dont care who wins")
I do hope that if there is a dancer we will be able to learn this in ARR zones or something. Having the trainer in Ala Mhigo is probably the obvious choice but I do hope that they dont restrict them behind the expansion again. People should be able to learn it from the beginning. I would like it to be part of Limsa Lominsa but that just me seeing a lightly covered woman which would go well with the summer theme in Limsa. (Yeah not that great of an argument)
I also hope that they wont use the: Have to level up class X to unlock Y anymore because its a little annoying. It would kinda make sense to have monk as a basic job to unlock before that but I find that you dont really learn much about the other job anyway (lvl15 does not teach you much) and if you want to try out another class you could just do that. (And with PotD you can now try it out till the bitter end). So I do hope its a standalone job and its not gated.
