Day Whatever-Whatever of trying to get my A11 drop. Still not allowed to have a drop. At least clear rate going up. I seem to be getting better at dodging the Claster line AoEs, which is nice - went a whole run without getting hit by it. Now I can work on not getting hit by the stupid overlapping circles. Except when they show up at the same time as the line AoEs, everything is too bright and the exact same colour so I can't differentiate between them in time. Yay.

That said, I can dodge everything perfectly and still die anyway, because confused melees decide to hit me for a 10k crit. Once again, thanks RNGesus. And of course, since I'll be at work tomorrow when reset hits, I have maybe an hour left to get this thing.

In other news, Level 50 roulette dropped me into Sastasha HM, as BLM. Party was PLD, AST, and MCH. From the start, this AST was making extremely dubious choices regarding card buffs, like giving the PLD an extended Spire when he had absolutely no need of it, and when the MCH was spamming AoEs like no tomorrow. And then giving the PLD Balance as well. In fact, I don't remember receiving a single card from them, and I'm not sure the MCH got any either.

But well, it's not like we got to spend all that much time with this AST, who, it must be said, had the mentor crown. In fact, I didn't spend all that much time in that dungeon, because we never got past the first boss.

How, you ask? Mainly because this AST never seemed to have heard of the radical concept of using cleansing spells to remove debuffs, especially debuffs that are causing damage over time. Tail Screw would kill them, and then the rest of us would die to the Slime DoT. This went on for 2 wipes, after which they abruptly left without a single word. I left myself and attempted to requeue as a SCH, but landed in another party instead. Sorry to the PLD and MCH, wherever you are.

1 male Hyur.
Upon entering, Hyur goes: "Oh yes, all females!"
Buffs get cast.
Hyur: "Hey my f**kbunnies..( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°)"
I was one run away from achievement and dead tired, otherwise that might have ended ugly >.>
And no, bunnyears nowhere to be seen so no "funny" play on words.

That's absolutely awful. I would have reported him for harassment and then left the instance.

Astrologian.

I get in a group of myself, a White Mage, and 2 other dps.


We're in the middleish part of the run, we end up getting 2 enemies in a room and start in on them.


LURE!

We proceed to fight for our lives, the other healer goes down, I"m frantically trying to keep the others alive, but see it's not feasable.
I swiftcast raise the healer and say to run for the cairn as I go down...

They manage to get away without getting any aggro from the mob of death, and proceed to the cairn.
They get aggro of an enemy!

My eyes are staring at their health/mana and cast bars...
Up, and down, up and down...

Nearly 200 HP!
And up, and down, and up.....

They win!
And I see 'interaction' on their castbar!
{Huzzah!} The run is saved!



We regen up and they start towards the exit as I begin typing a message in chat.
I finish my message and go to join them in the next room, I lok down the hallway and see a giant group of enemies!

I completely and utterly NOPE out of that situation and run back to the Cairn and wait for everyone to die...
I didn't wait long.




More Cairn use!
Back to the next room...


Someone decides to run in and use a witching...
We fight! They twiddle their flippers at us...
We Fight! They turn back!

I die...
Dps dies...

I hope the White Mage swiftcast raises someone so we can save the run a third time!

Something small, but just got out of a Dusk Vigil while workin' on DRG, felt like I was screwin' up the rotation constantly, but still got all the comms. I mean I ain't gonna complain, but WHAT!?

Well it's after reset. Let the wonderful stories for this week's raids begin.

Queued for A9S, because all of the parties in Party Finder were starting at 10 or 11 PM, which is a little late for me.

Got a group in 5 minutes. Wonderful. I go as Ninja.

I'm 2nd on Enmity List at first mob. Uh oh...
Okay, I didn't use Shadewalker. That must be why.
Or so I thought.

Go to boss, and I start with Shadewalker on MT.
I noticed adds were dying VERY slowly.
By the time of 2nd adds, I knew we could never hope to have enough DPS.

ST could not hold any hate on adds. Just my Death Blossoms were stealing hate...
By Faust's turn, I was 2nd on Enmity list again.

Scholar died twice before Faust even appeared.
At 44% both healers, ST, and 1 DPS were dead. Alarum already appeared three times.

Anyway, we try again. Some people dying, standing in acid pools.

We run out of time at 14%. 14% !!!
Even when I first practiced this raid I never saw out-of-time at 14%.

Thankfully, I wasn't the only one who knew it was impossible. We voted abandoned.

I can only imagine the Scholar, 2 of the DPS, and the ST MUST have been carried to clear it. It was a nightmare.

Moral of the story: When you go into a raid unprepared and lacking experience, you cause trouble for everyone.

Let's hope the next group at least uses food...

We get to the 41-50 ish area.

Had something maybe similar the other day in Alexander, a healer with a raise macro like this: "Come on -player name- get up, I wanna make sweet love to you". I'm not a jelous woman, but it did cringe on me when he casted it on my bf (we both got same last name), found it rather inappropiate. I think there's a limit on what's funny and what can be offensive/annoying.
