Not only they dropping ps3 support, but they're also upgrading servers and upping the minimum PC specs. I believe and hope that character creator features will be expanded on in Stormblood. They always said they can't do ___ due to ps3 and server limitations, now they can't use that excuse anymore. For the 1st time, cgi derplander has a full facial scruff going on, so hopefully that indicates more facial options ... hopefully.

I'd switch back to amale au ra if I can have a choice of Horn shape and slide (would be nice if possible)like they have with Elezen and Lalafell ears.

No new race at all preferably, especially if we are never going to get a 'not-cute' race (as was apparently said at the Fan Fest). Just means everything in the future will always be cute by default, which is stupid.

I doubt we will see a new race this time. Probably sacrificing some resources to cater to others, which is what they should be doing. When you make a new race, you have to make it that all previous gear from 2.0/3.0 fits and adjusts to them. These resources should be used to focus on creating new things so the design team does not feel held back. Especially if you are making a more non-humanoid race, which I imagine would be hell to do.

I say, keep your resources in check, and if you can without sacrificing other resources and time, then make a new race.

I wouldn't mind a new race though unlike Au Ra I probably won't Fantasia to it.

On the other hand I'd rather they focus on current character customization for ALL the current races, more so if its either that or new race. Preface for this part I never played XI, but that game did just fine with the five default races to my understanding.

I agree with what others have said with further character customization over new races. This game is severely behind the times when it comes to our models.

That being said, I would also like them to add a non sexy animal if they are going to add one at all. Viera, hate them, will make them into stew and feast on them gluttonously as I sip at the wine made of furry tears, but would rather see them more rabbit-like and less boobs with rabbit ears like they were in xii.
